I bought the printer for my daughter. She quickly returned the printer to me after loads of problems running out of inks, when she had hardly used it. She swapped it for my old HP. Anyway I bought a new set of cartridges and have not printed a sheet of paper. Couldnt get it to print. Worthless printer for the dustbin

I bought this printer for a bargain price at Tesco's December 2007 and it is the best combination printer/scanner that I have ever used. One of my main contentions with modern inkjet printers is the cost of the ink cartridges, and the fact that in the usual three colour ink cartridge when only one of the ink colours have run out you are forced to replace the cartridge wasting the remaining two colours - not economical and defiantly NOT environmentally friendly! This printer used four cartridges, one each for cyan, yellow, magenta and black so that you only have to replace the inks one at a time as they run out, much better! I would not recommend this printer. I bought one and had to replace it twice as it stopped working. I tried to get help from Epson technical support but they did not seem too sure how to fix the problem, and I ended up with all instructions being in german which did not help with problem solving.
