Advantages: A good all in one printer, scanner & copier & you don't even need a computer to print your pictures!

Disadvantages: Small ink cartridges that need to be changed frequently.

I have had this printer for over a year and purchased it from my local supermarket for a very reasonable price. It is an all in one printer, i.e. it prints, scans and photocopies. All of the software needed for scanning comes with the printer and is straight forward and easy to use. The printer performs well as a black and white copier, but for more colours and greater sharpness it is best to use the scanning function. The printer also has the facility to print directly from an XD, SD or MS card, without the need of a PC although I have never used this as I do not have the need for it. I have printed out many documents containing both text and pictures and have been pleased with the results (I did not even set up the printer to the highest quality). The printer comes with a black cartridge and 3 colour cartridges which saves money as you only need to change the colour cartridges that are empty rather than changing all three just because one colour has run out. Unfortunatley the cartridges do not last very long as they are small, however high capacity ink cartridges are available from Epson and other compatible cartridges.

Summary: A good quality and reliable printer from a well known brand. I would recommend this to anyone.
