I have only ever bought Epson printers as I have never had a problem with one yet. I bought this printer about three months ago and chose this one out of all of them because you can either buy the ink in separate colours or as the pack.
The printer itself was not one of the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive printer. You have to pull out a drawer to put all your different size papers in and there are slots that you can put your memory cards in to download your pictures. There is also a very good sized display screen that is on a panel and the whole panel flips up, making the display screen very easy to see. The only let down in the flap that catches the paper once printed. It does seem to be quite flimsy and you have you have to be careful pulling it out and putting it back, however, the printer also comes with the added bonus of being wireless or you can use a USB cable (wifi and Ethernet).
This is either a printer, scanner or copier. One of my main reasons for buying this printer is that I use it a lot for printing picture of my children. At first I printed out a picture but it was coming out smudged, I was using the proper Epson ink and photo paper so was very disappointed. However, it turned out not to be the printer it was because I was using some older Epson photo paper that was not supported by the new printer. I found this out by contacting the Epson helpline via live chat and they were brilliant. I used the photo paper that came with the printer (newer version of my old photo paper) and the results were excellent.
Overall this is a very good printer and I have found it very easy to use and have not been disappointed with it. I would highly recommend this printer to all.
