Advantages: All-in-one Printer, scanner, photocopier

Disadvantages: Prints badly..

I have had this printer for almost 2 years now, It's a reliable brand, and it does its job when its working properly.
When I first bought this printer I was amazed by its print quality, until it slowly started playing up. It prints awful and I have to keep setting it to clean itself, which wastes ink at the same time.

------------Advantages------------
Printer, scanner and copiers are essential these days and this all-in-one printer does all the simple jobs of photocopying well (having the ability to set it black&white) or coloured. This printer also has slots for camera memory cards so if you don't have the slot/adapter you can just use your printer to transfer all your digital onto you comp..For example I use it to transfer my photos from my camera to my Macbook because it doesn't have the slot. It's a very straight forward printer with a screen on the printer allowing you to select options and you are able to use this printer even if your laptop isn't on-this is a bonus especially if you don't want to turn your comp on.

------------Ink------------
Very easy and quick to change the ink cartridges within reach. The printer runs on 4 inks (yellow, blue, megenta and black) and when the one ink runs out you just have to replace the one ink. However this is also annoying, if say your black ink runs out but the other 3 havent you are not able to print until you have changed the black ink.

------------Disadvantages------------
I find myself having to set it on fine print to print to achieve super perfect photos but when done so I must say the results are impressive. It prints very clear and professionally!but if I was just to leave it on normal settings for it to perform normally it starts loosing its shades of colours, not only that it prints red lines, like indicating there isn't enough ink!

Epson is a very renowned name for its good quality but this printer is defiantly a disappointment and its very frustrating to sort it out too! Not only can the quality bad be bad when its not working well the printer is extremely bulky and big! Its very heavy and noisey.

------------Overall------------
Prints (when set on super fine option) its Perfect (especially) printed on satin paper, or ultra gloss!but a waste of ink..it drinks ink so badly-very expensive to maintain and within printing you may waste paper too from the feed of the printer!

I do not recommend this printer.

Print outs 9/10 for Super fine setting 5/5 (o.k) for Normal setting printing
Cost 3/10 Not worth is at all
Function 10/10 has all aspect of what a printer needs
Appearance 2/10 Very heavy and bulky

Summary: I do not reccomend in buying this printer!
