      Good value budget range printer.

Having had this printer for a while now I am very pleased with its performance. You get a lot with this printer: it scans, prints and copies with ease - and all this for a low budget range price. I bought mine from Amazon and it cost me £29.50 (February 2013) and since it came with 2 ink cartridges in it I reckon that was excellent value for money.

It is a valuable addition to our home office equipment. It was easy to set up - and was up and running in no time. The operating buttons on the top of the printer are easy to understand. It also lets you know how much ink you have left. It is lightweight but sturdy. Unlike some budget range printers it doesn't seem to mind that I put cheap printer paper into it - to date it hasn't jammed. The printing quality is very good whether it's printing off documents or photos and it doesn't seem to be too greedy with ink either. The ink cartridges are easily removed and replaced.

It isn't the fastest printer - probably not the best choice for a busy office environment - but for the amount of tasks it is required to do for us (mainly work projects and homework for the children) it is more than adequate.

The scanning part of it is on the top of the machine. The side of the paper you want to copy goes face down onto the glass plate and you close the top whilst it scans.

Perhaps the one thing to note is that as it has a rear paper feeder you have to allow space around the back of it which perhaps takes up a little more room than some other printers. Ours sits on the desk and it has to be pulled away from the wall enough to let the paper feeder rest properly. It redeems itself with a useful pull out paper arm which stops the papers spilling out on the floor.

All things considered I think you would struggle to find a more reliable and efficient budget range printer. Would recommend to anyone for use in the home.
