Today I am reviewing the HP Envy 100 All in one printer.
There is no doubt in my mind that the Hp Envy 100 is a sleek, stylish all in one and it's very visually attractive. It offers the standard features of printing, scanning, copying and wireless networking but thats not the coolest thing about it.
From the front you can see a large touch screen, the resolution is good but the sensitivity of the actual touch screen isn't unfortunately. I would have expected a lot better considering it is the main feature of the product and the way to navigate through the options.
You also need to make sure you update the firmware immediately, this is a slight pain but it will make your printer work alot better.
There are lots of applications to choose from on the interface and mostly they are targeted at parents as there are things such as colouring in sheets etc. Although I have never seen apps before on a printer so that is a new idea from HP.
The printing quality is decent but as it is a high end printer you would have thought that it would use different colour cartridges for better accuracy but it only uses one cartridge. It's not that fast to print things but it's not painfully slow either.
Scanning quality is amazing, it is really sharp and I think is one of the best scanners available on the current market.
I really like the aesthetics of this product and you can see alot of thought has gone into not only quality of printer but the way it looks on a desk.
I award this printer four stars as I believe it needs more cartridges for better colour accuracy and better touch screen for easier use.
