Advantages: good value considering what it can do, easy to use, good quality printing

Disadvantages: scanner takes some getting used to, quite large

The Photosmart 2575 has printer, scanner and photocopying capabilities. I have been using it for almost 3 years now and in my opinion it is a jack of all trades and a master of none. Its quite large and takes up a lot of space on the desk. Its priced quite low considering all of the features that you get for your money.

The printing capabilities are quite good with a good print quality and a relatively fast print speed. Using the scanning capability can take a long time and has a relatively steep learning curve. I found using the scanner quite confusing and I found that I regularly needed assistance from the help program. I didn't use the photocopying capability very often, but found that it was quite quick and gave a decent quality photocopy.

The ink cartridges from HP are very expensive, but they do last for a long time.

I terms of ease of use, I found that it was very easy to use (with the exception of the scanner) and overall I am very happy with it.

I would recommend this product as you get a lot for your money.
