      Very helpful

      not worth it.

This 'all in one printer' is certainly a popular choice for a home office solution but is it any good? We have had ours for almost 3 year now.

Bought from Argos when on offer at £39.99 (should have been £59.99) we were very happy with the price. We were also happy that it was a HP as it was a well recognised brand.

This printer/scanner/copier was well packaged when it arrived and came with all the necessery cables/wires etc. to get started straight away. The printer also came with instructions and an installation CD which you put into your PC and it pretty much installs the printer for you in less than around 10 minutes.

I use the printer for all 3 functions I will look at each in turn...

Not a bad print quality. I don't use it for photos but I know there is a particular setting for this. The only issue I have with printing is the cost of HP cartridges. They are extremely expensive and don't last very long in my opinion!

Great. Excellent quality, quick to do just put whatevr you want to scan under the screen, press a button on the top and its off. Save the scan wherever you want when done (a pop up screen appears on the PC).

Quite quick. Good quality copies. Easy to do again, just press the copy button on the top and it sets itself away. Beware though if your ink levels are low it wont print it just send out a blank sheet.

Overall I don't think I would buy a HP all in one again. The ink is just too expensive and although the quality is good I do feel a bit ripped off having to replace the cartridges before they'e done sometimes.

This printer is a bargain for a multi-function printer.

I got this printer with my new computer and I am really please with it. Its a smart black printer that will sit neatly on a computer shelf. Its very easy to set up and the included CD walks you through the installation process to calibrate the printer heads and the scanner for the best possible results.
It is a very quiet machine and I barely noticed it printing the documents I requested. The print is crisp and clean and the colours are nice and sharp.
The scan and copy function is so easy to use, it almost foolproof and the touch screen panel has clear details on it if a problem should occur.
The ink cartridges are very easy to install and you can even set up a widget on your computer screen to tell you how much ink you have left - very useful for when you have a large amount of important printing to do and don't want to keep checking via the printer screen.
When printing photos it is obviously slightly slower but when using high quality paper and ink it produced beautiful prints that you can be proud of.
The printer also prints on different material from envelopes to transparencies - something anyone giving a presentation will find useful.
Overall I really can't find fault with this little machine, it looks smart and does exactly what it says on the tin.
