My so, wants to create his own compilation CDs, so the CD printer is useful, though it took us while to get the hang of it (At age 11, he is probably more knowledgeable about computers than I am !). Overall, very pleased with the printer, which produces prints at a good rate. No real issues except we have it telling us that there is a paper-jam, when there isn'...more

Recently I had need of a printer so, my wife having won the previous one in a bitter courtroom drama, went out and attempted to prise open my rusty wallet before I changed my mind. Whilst I was browing for one I made up my mind that, not having a clue what any of them performed like, I would just go for the best deal I could find and hope for the best. In the end I went for an all-in-one jobbie (printer/copier/scanner combined), as the scanner went the same way as the printer, and travelled home a happy, if slightly poorer, man. The device in question was a Hewlett-Packard Photosmart C5280 and came in a brightly decorated box the size of a small car. As I ...  Read the complete review

Well, HP has always known for quality and excellence. HP Photosmart C5280 All-in-one is another such example. The colors are sharpest and the most highlighting point is that the photo prints have amazing clarity and quality. Another great factor is the speed, HP Photosmart offers one of the highest speeds in the whole range of All-in- one Printers. We can copy 32 papers per minute (mono) and 24 (color) papers per minute. The same goes for printing. A4 size paper suits the best. You can print and copy thick glossy papers as well. I will recommend it highly to those who are professional photographers, illustrators, actors or models. ...  Read the complete review

The Photosmart C5280 is nicely styled in a subtle two tone of grey and white with smooth rounded edges. To the front left side of this sleek panel is the 61mm colour LCD display that can be closed snugly into the top of the printer itself and pulled back out when required. The control buttons are situated at the front of the printer and there are 11 in total, all picked out with silver, giving the machine a modern look and feel. There's a bank of memory cards below the LCD screen which covers SD/MMC, MemoryStick, Xd and CompactFlash. The paper tray is front loading and can hold up to 125 sheets of plain paper , and to the right of this is an automatic ...  Read the complete review

We needed a new printer when the old one broke down under the weight of our son's science project. Not being a techie, I looked for one which had reviews of being easy to use and easy to install.
