Advantages: Cheap for what it does.
Disadvantages: A very big hassle to set up and ink doesn't last long.
I've had many printers over the years, many wired and many wireless. I had come to the conclusion that wireless printers were the worst invention ever, plagued by problems such as not working, not scanning the list goes on. I had heard good things about this one and decided to take the plunge. Firstly, the build quality isn't great and it feel plasticy and is rather large and will take up a lot of space. Next is getting the thing to print, you have the option to use it wired, but it was wireless so I felt that I had to take advantage of this. I wish I didn't. The Windows Printer adder didn't have this exact model, even after a Windows Update of the printer list, so I scoured the list looking for the printer with the most similar name. After finding one that loosely resembled the F4280 I installed it, hit print and the test page printed out, nice colour depth and printed fast enough. Great, all set I thought. When it came to printing something out other than the test page it just refused. After hours of installing drivers and troubleshooting I came across the HP Photosmart Centre. Once installed this did the job, but it did install all manner of other programs at the same time which I had to uninstall one at a time. Next onto the scanning, it is hard to work, and requires a bit of practice and even then it isn't great. I can't fault the photocopying but that's to be expected. My one big concern for this is that it goes through ink likes there's no tomorrow so you will have to be replacing far too often for my liking. In conclusion, if you want the hours of trouble shooting, buying new and expensive ink then go ahead and buy this printer, otherwise steer well clear.
Summary: Avoid, it's not worth the trouble.
