Advantages: Cost, Build quality

Disadvantages: Cartridge prices

I have owned this printer for nearly 2 yrs now and it was a replacement for my separate printer and scanner. I have used it to print photographs and other mass colour printing and so I am in a position to comment on its reliability and user friendliness.

Its pros are that it comes complete with aHP 21 Black Inkjet Print Cartridge (5ml) and a HP 22 Tri-colour Inkjet Print Cartridge (5ml). It also comes with a HP Image Zone Photo & Imaging CD-ROM and power cord. This comes at a respectable price of around £50 from Currys. It will give you about 50 colour prints.

Its cons are that it can be noisey and does not come complete with a USB cable included that can be as much as £10 from PC World (try and purchase this elsewhere). The sheet feeder can be a little tempremental also and frequently jams if you put too much paper in. Apart from this the build quality is good. You can no longer buy cheap cartridges fro this make of printer from Staples (your best bet is cartridge world)

Overall, i would say that this printer is worth the money and is built to last.

Summary: A cheap reliable printer.
