Advantages: Basic printer. Easy to use

Disadvantages: Ink prices extortionate, colour printing poor

I've had this printer for several years now. When I first bought it, I was very please and sustained a habit of printing off anything and everything. This soon stopped when it came to buying replacement ink cartridges- they are ridiculously expensive, and I cannot understand why Lexmark continues to charge such high prices for ink compared to companies such as Epsom. Having used other printers, I am now also aware of the poor quality of the colour printing that this printer produces. Most red colours turn out pink, and bright blue turns out wishy washy, even though I always buy the proper Lexmark colour ink replacements. I have refilled the cartidges myself in black ink, but this gets messy and i'd rather not. I still haven't bought a replacement, but I fully intend to do so, and I don't think I will ever buy a Lexmark again; mainly because of the price of the ink.
