Advantages: Gets the job done

Disadvantages: Unreliable, Not great quality, bad helpline, not a great make!

Lexmark, not my favourite make of printer of all time! They break down quite a lot and very easily, they are hard to use and if your paper gets jammed, you might aswell employ a printer engineer to press all the buttons to reset it! For example, my paper gets stuck, i do what it says, but still no! They also have a habit of feeding out the first sheet of paper as soon as powered on! This lexmark printer looks attractive and gets the job done, but not easily. Personally i would reccommend a "Brother" printer or a "Canon" I think they are a lot more straight forward compared to this one!!! Other downsides are the printing quality isn't actually that great, too dark, too light, too liney etc etc the list is endless, lexmarks helpline isn't that great either, "Refer to the manual" is usually the instruction given! So be warned!

Summary: Lexmark X1290 - Not a Reccommended buy!
