Lexmark X1270

I have two Lexmark printers (including an X1270) and even for someone as computer literate as me, the amount of time I have invested in trying to get my printers to work makes them extremely expensive and they still don t work. Why? Well, part of the software that comes with Lexmark printers is almost like a virus that takes over your Windows PC s print spooler and, if you search the internet for "Lexmark""spooler" you ll see links to this problem. You have to forensically get into the guts of your operating system to dig out the debris uninstalling Lexmark printers leaves behind to have any hope of using printers on your PC if the Lexmark printer ...
Lexmark X1150 PrinTrio

The Lexmark PrinTrio is a multi purpose printer, it says multi but really it s just a scanner built in to it. At first you look at the printer and it has quite a nice sleek look to it, a nice design. The scanning feature is actually shockingly bad, I find that if i press scan and it completes the task at hand within five minutes I actually feel rather pleased. For a reason be known to me it takes forever for it to actually scan the document and bring it up on the screen, ...

I recently purchased a Lexmark X80 from Aldi - it is a reboxed version of the X83 - basically the same from what I can tell - same features, and specs, just a cheaper price for a selected few retail outlets. It even installs the X83 software & drivers! It has 1200dpi scanning, and takes both black and colour ink simultaneously to make cost effective printing, and to save you having to keep switching cartriges. It is supplied with colour & black cartridges, a comprehensive array of manuals, and connects to the USB port of your PC with the supplied cable. Replacement cartridges are available from PC World, or you can pick them up cheap on ebay. Anyway, I have ...
