Advantages: Made a huge difference for me
Disadvantages: None for me
Well let me tell you a bit of my history of suffering with Hayfever. You know I originally thought when people told me they had Hayfever that it was a bit of a runny nose with a touch of occasional sneezing and an itchy sensation to the eyes. Well of course they are some of the many symptoms of Hayfever but really, from my experience, that is just the tip of the iceberg!
It is approx 5-6 years ago now that I started to suffer with Hayfever. It began one spring and lasted all through the summer. The thing is I love to go for country walks, up and down grassy hills, sit down on the grass and eat lunch and just enjoy the scenery, peace and fresh air...in the company of my husband and daughter. Unfortunately I could not do this any longer, it seemed, without becoming very unwell.
I did get dry itchy eyes, I also developed a runny nose - like a tap and of course I did sneeze too. It was the other symptoms that baffled me initially until I researched and went to the GP, things like fatigue that developed within say 5-10 minutes of exposure to the countryside allergens, nausea and a terrible pain in my sinuses that went into my up and lower jaw, into the teeth and around the back of my neck. I thought at one point that I was having toothache and that I would need some tooth extraction of the lower teeth, the pain was persistent and terrible.
So for a few summers I resigned myself to having to omit country walks if the pollen was as much as medium, car windows remained closed so that I was in a horrible, sweaty and humid situation, house windows closed...it was absolutely horrible.
I resorted to trying the prescribed synthetic medication, which I didn't want to try due to the side effects, one of them being fatigue! They did not suit me at all and it was a matter of suffer one set of symptoms or the other. I was having to take regular pain killers for the sinus related pain, I was pretty desperate now.
Then I was browsing the internet trying to find a natural way of coping with Hayfever and discovered Hay Max!
Hay Max is an organic, natural, drug free balm. It is approved by the vegetarian society and includes beeswax that is ethically sourced from wild bees.
The idea of Hay Max is to apply a barrier, the balm, to your outer edges of the nostrils regularly so that a high percentage of pollen/allergens are caught on the barrier balm and prevented from entering the system. It won't stop all pollen/allergens from entering but if you regularly apply throughout the hayfever season the rationale is that the allergen level in the system will remain below the level that sets of a response and thus creates the symptoms.
If you sneeze, blow your nose or feel that the balm needs re applying then it is good to get into the habit because it really is worth it.
I could not believe the difference in my symptoms from when I started using Hay Max daily throughout the pollen season. For the last few years now my symptoms have been very manageable. I understand how to work with it and it allows me to live my life how I want to live it. I can have my house windows open! I can have my car windows open! and I can go for a walk in the countryside!!!
I really can't believe it and thank Max Wiseburg so very much. He suffers from Hayfever himself and developed this amazing product initially for his own use and found it so effective that he has now made it available to others.
Hay Max comes in a variety of fragrances or fragrance free:
You can purchase them separately or in a tin of three which works out cheaper.
They are stocked in a number of places as well as online, for example I have seen them in Boots, Superdrug, Holland and Barrett and Tesco.
With this being a natural and drug free product it has the advantage of being non drowsy, which is a big plus in my opinion.
If you want to find out even more about this product then you can visit Max's website at www.haybalm.f2s.com a great website where you can read testimonials and also contact Max for any info or advice.
This has been a real life saver for me and people that I have recommended it to have noticed a difference too.
Thank you for reading.
Summary: It works for me
