Cannon fodder 2 is (Suprisingly!) The sequal to Cannon Fodder 1. So if you've played CF1 then expect a lot more of the same, If you've not then id better get my fingers out and write a bit about the game. I was reminded of this game a few days ago by playing command and conquer Red Alert, Some of the levels on the later Westwood game reminded me of this classic. Released back in the olden days (1994) by Sensible software (The great people behind Sensible soccer), This game was a bit different from most/all the other games available at the time. Cannon fodder I bought Cannon Fodder 2 as a game from HMV in the sold out section of games. I thought at £4.99 it was a steal so I picked my self up a copy. The game has a sort of Cartoony feel to it as your little soldiers stand there with there guns pointed at the enemy. You encounter all sorts of enemies in this game from Soldiers to aliens and you get to encounter all types of vehicles for your little super heros to travel in you get to travel in jeeps and tanks and even a flying saucer. The sequel to another sensible software smash hit in 1995 was met with success but not nearly on the same scale as had been hoped. Once more you were met with the hill baring the crosses marking the graves of your dead, once more you were met with the football scoreboard like kill tallies but yet it wasn't the same. There were just as many levels as before except now they were on all sorts of different levels such as in cities over dual carriage ways and on marsh land where you need to avoid quick sand.
