When you attack, the computer looks at your attack level and the enemy's defence level, and decides which of you wins the fight. There's a huge random element in this to make sure that new players have a chance of joining in the game properly. If you win, you get a bit of their cash, which transports itself to their base. If you lose, you drop...more

Premium Review cashwars: Total rip-off. (613 words)

It seemed like fun when I first signed up. You wander around the terrain, stumbling across other people's bases and attacking them for money. If you come across an oilfield, drill for oil, which you can swap for better drills (so you can... er... drill for more oil), better weapons or better defences for your own base, which you've left behind. The whole game works as a huge grid. On each square, you press either the North, South, East or West buttons to move to another grid square which will contain either oilfields, mountains (where you can dig for prizes), someone else's base or emptiness. You each start with $5 in special "Akzar" cash. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review get paid to steal cash? (421 words)

Try Cashwars, A totally new way to make money while on the net. The idea of the game is to build yourself a stronhold and go out and steal other peoples money. For real. If you manage to break into their fort then you get a reward. It takes time to establish yourself in the game and tactics and planning play a large part. There is an advert at the top of the screen but you have to expect that, its how they make there money. Joining an MDN (mutual Defence Network) can improve your fortifications against attacks. The stronger your clan the less chance there is of money being stolen from your camp. You only have a limited number of moves per day which is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review cashwars: Addictive, but will you ever gain? (980 words)
by - written on 28/11/00 (Very useful, 136 readings)

This is a get paid scheme with a big difference. You - theoretically - get paid by fighting others and stealing their money. It costs nothing yourself - the "money" is provided for from advertising revenues. This revenue comes from banner ad impressions when you are playing the game, and fees that Cashwars receive for you signing up for programs to get yourself extra fuel cells. Let me explain. You have a base on a 700 x 700 square world (almost half a million locations). YOu can move N/S/E/W around the world, one space at a time. YOu will find oil fields, mountains, trading bases and other peoples bases. Oil is the base material that ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Get those Akzhars earnt (277 words)
by - written on 15/11/00 (Very useful, 24 readings)
Rating:

CashWars is a really good fun new game on the internet. The idea is that you have your own little base and you move around a map looking for other people. When you find someone you can spy on them to find out something about them or you can walk on by past them or you can attack them. If you attack them then you can steal their money if you are successful. However if you are unsuccessful then you can either just get chased off or the enemy can steal your money off you. The planet you are on is the planet Akzhar and the currency there, rather predictably, is Akzhars. This is what you stel off other people. You also find yourself in mountainous regions from time to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review cashwars: About Cashwars and tips (504 words)
by - written on 07/02/01 (Very useful, 52 readings)

Now, the basis of this game is your on a planet and you have a base. You dig the ground for oil and you use that oil to buy items (oils is the money on this planet). You can then improve one of 4 things....Security, Strengh, Fortification and Stealth. There are several levels and each will help you either attack other bases or defend yours against attack from others. You have to strike a balance between attack and defence, because you need both to get anywhere. Once you have enough money, you can cash out. Someone here claimed that they had enough to cash out after 3 weeks while playing every other day. Now this i find hard to believe. He/she must ...  Read the complete review
