Advantages: Great for wasting hours of your life

Disadvantages: Bad for eyesight and marriage

Where would we be without computer games? I think we would be still living in caves and drawing on walls. I couldn't image a world without them although I would probably get around 5 years of my life back.

One of my first consoles was the ZX Spectrum and has never looked back since. I loved Batman on the ZX as it really challenged the gamer and in many levels you really had to pump a lot of brain power in if you were to have a chance of completing a level.

Then from there I had a commodore 64 then a Sega Master System, Mega Drive, Gameboy, Game Gear, PS1, PS2 and PS3 and not forgetting the good old PC. How else could I spend my time if I didn't have football managing games and RPG games? Probably in the pub doing quizzes!

It is just so exciting where we will be in the future and can only see virtual reality or 3D gaming being the next big thing for computer games. For men it's like having a handbag we need our games and consoles.

My favourite games of all time would have to be the following:-

Championship Manager (PC)
Road Rash (Amiga)
Alex the kid (Master System)
Golden Axe (Mega Drive)
Dead Ball Zone (PS1)
Tomb Raider (PS1 & PS2)
Call of Duty: Modern Warefare (PS3)
Gears of War (X-BOX 360)

Overall there are thousands of games I could add to that list and many different types of excellent consoles like Wii and X-Box. I see a massive future for this industry and cannot wait to see the next generation of games.

Summary: Computer games are a fabulous way for all to bond and have fun

There is nothing wrong with not playing wideo games - I bet you have 20/20 vision! ;)

I loved Dogtanian and was my favourite cartoon when I was 4 years old. I bet that teddy is worth a few bob though as I didn't even know you could get such Dogtanian as a teddy.

I like your avatar too it looks very cuddly!

I have not played a single video game in my entire life.

Never even been near a joystick.

But I do love your avatar: One of my favourite cartoon characters ever.
I've had a soft cuddly toy Dogtanian since I was a baby.
