The biggest question of all in the gaming world is what is the best? Is it going to be the ps2, the xbox or the game cube? As a ps2 owner I like it but I think the x box will rule! I don't know what u think but here are some of the stats.

The xbox will be 733 MHz, whereas the ps2 is 294.912 MHz and the game cube will be 405MHz Power pc. From this the xbox looks like its going to be number 1 as it has the highest Mhz but who knows. I still think ps2 could be no.1 as it has the most current support.

The x box also has the highest graphics processor with the game cube second and then the ps2 but not by much.

The x box will have total memory of 64 MB then the game cube with 43mb and then the ps2 with 32mb.

These are the stats for the storage medium:

The xbox is: 2-5x DVD, Hard disk 8GB, 8MB Memory card

The ps2 is 4x DVD, 8MB Memory card

And the game cube: Propriety 1.5GB disc, Digicard - Megabyte

The xbox will also have 4 controller ports the same as the game cube but the ps2 is behind with only 2. But does this really concern people? I'm not to bothered as you can get multi taps for a cheap price. It is an advantage having 4 ports so why didn't the ps2 come with 4 ports. Was it to make more money? But the ps1 controllers were cheaper then the n64 controllers so maybe it evens out?

The xbox also has 3d support whereas the ps2 doesn't and the game cube hasn't announced it yet

The xbox has a max resolution at 1920x1080, while the ps2 is at 1280X1024.

One of the biggest differences is do u think people can be bothered to wait until 2002 for the x box and later for the game cube?

Although the x box and the game cube have the advantage of the better console the ps2 has the main advantage of coming out first, which I think is a major advanage. But is Sony running scared?

Rumors say that the ps3 is coming out at the s
tart of 2003 in Japan, as they are so scared the ps2 will be a drop. Maybe the ps2 was just a bridge between the ps1 and ps3?
