Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge ... I cannot believe you can now buy this for a mere 30 pence, that seems outrageous, considering that many moons ago you would have paid about £25.00 for this racing game. Amiga games are quite collectible, considering now they are viewed as retro and something of a nostalgic nature. The premise of this game was to drive a Lotus Esprit and complete a series of race tracks. You could play it in single player mode or as a two player and you would control it using a joystick. The playability was really good, though the game was pretty hard to master. Road Rash 2 (Amiga) ... the same as its predecessor, Road Rash 2 is a simple but addictive motorbike racing game in which you compete in illegal racing matches across the highways of America on a range of supercharged bikes. As in the original you can punch other drivers from their bikes, or alternatively you can boot them into the path of oncoming traffic or club them over the head with one of several weapons, namely a kosh, a crowbar or a bikechain. The colourful and well-designed graphics are much the same as in the first game, if slightly more polished, and manage to convey a strong sense of speed as you tear along the highways, whilst the controls are responsive and the maps varied a... Road Rash 2 (Amiga) ... Rash 2 was one of the greatest games I ever played on the Amiga or the Sega Megadrive. Having played Road Rash and enjoyed the high speed beat em up action, I could not wait to get my hands on Road Rash 2. It combined all the great features of Super Hang on with the beat em up thrill and story of Streets of rage. With the cosh, the chain or the crow bar, you can bash your fellow rashers from their machines. The introduction of the nitro boost added a special thrill, and when you are stopped by the cops, the cut scenes are varied and hilarious.
