Golden Axe features 3 different playable characters each with their own abilities.

The aim of the game is to make your way through the levels battling all kinds of foes.

You have basic attacks with each of your characters and special attacks. You can only unleash your special attacks if you have enough magic and the only way to get magic is to boot little imp like creatures that hold sacks. You also get health by booting these little creatures to. Be careful though, because you need to distribute these items carefully through your team (if you are playing with a friend).

Your characters perform combo moves automatically as long as you get the upper hand on attacks. You will face various bosses and obstacles through the game such as death falls and dragon like creatures. Some of the dragon creatures you can ride and control their fiery attack.

You will be amazed at the playability and arcade brilliance of this game. Although quite a simple game to play it is difficult to complete but you will never get bored of trying again and again.
