 ... it first came out. The graphics were much more realistic with a variety of types and sizes of trees to enhance the view. Balls would bounce off the trees should you hit it at them. A nice touch was the shadow of the ball on the ground as the ball travelled through the air. Mouse controlled you could hook and slice your tee shot with ease except for the skilled. You could hear the plop as the ball dropped into a water hazard. And a near miss at the hole would bring an Ooooo! from the crowd. A close putt to drop in...more

As with all Amiga games you have to think in terms of yesteryear for their impact on the computer world at that time. In the early nineties the Amiga was way ahead of it's time and so were the games until the PC world not only caught up but passed in the mid to late nineties. Leaderboard was one of the early forerunners of the game of golf on the computer. Those before it were poor but were playable. Leaderboard brought computer golf to life.
