If you haven't played Lemmings before, it is a game where you have to rescue Lemmings from falling off a cliff. Well not quite. The idea of the game comes from that myth and often you lemmings will fall off a precipice, or find themselves in a fatal situation. Your mission is to get a horde (is that the proper collective noun) of lemmings safely home. As with all Amiga games you have to think in terms of yesteryear for their impact on the computer world at that time. In the early nineties the Amiga was way ahead of it's time and so were the games until the PC world not only caught up but passed in the mid to late nineties. With the raging success of Lemmings the team followed up with Lemmings The Tribes. Our little furry suicidees, now split into various tribes, went about their adventures as before but with better "powers" and harder courses.
