Advantages: Very playable, very cute and very addictive

Disadvantages: Not the greatest graphics in the world and some levels can really do your head in!

When Psygnosis first released a majorly-addictive, cutesy, simple graphic game called 'Lemmings' for the Amiga and Atari...everyone who purchased the game was hooked, and every other platform wanted Psygnosis and their dumbly suicidal characters to grace their chips.
Just like real lemmings who live to end up killing themselves, this game sees you simply saving the cute creatures from topping themselves in about 100 puzzle scenarios, and all your lemmings can have a number of skills applied to them such as blockers who block hollow routes death, and diggers who dig paths to freedom etc...You get the gist! And with these skills being limited per level, and you having a time limit and a saved-lemmings-percentage-to-win, you know that this is going to be a progressively tough game, but very simple and addictive; believe me! It may not be graphically appealing like it's numerous sequels (especially the current new Lemmings Revolution)', but this 1991 hit is still a classic, but not a game you'll go back to once you've completed it. If you haven't got it, you're missing out! It's in a bargain bin near you (probably bundled with some of the sequels), and it's also great for 90's nostalgia fans.
