This was one of the first games I got for my Gamecube. The idea sounded new and quite fun. It is an RPG/Card game, which seems a lot like card captors but with a slightly darker plot. _____ |Story | You play as Princess Katia who is the heir to the throne of Alanjeh. While in the castle one day her father, King Feobane, receives word that the black fog, which has been creeping over the land, has reached the castle. Lost Kingdoms was the first RPG game to hit the Gamecube. The game focuses on collecting cards to defeat enemy monsters and its really as simple as that. the little storyline which has just focuses on the 'Black Fog' taking over the land and plunging it into to evil releaing hundreds of creatures. Thats where you come in you play the role of prinecess Katia who goes out to find her father who went out to find out about the fog. The Game is VERY short casual gamers will finish it in a month while expierenced gamers can complete it in 1 week. The idea of card collecting may not appeal to all, restricting the auidience size. ... Read the complete review

A lost king shall we say. Lost Kingdom’s is no run-of-the-mill RPG, it successfully combines several elements to create a surprisingly deep yet underrated classic. It is like Pokémon but more adult, uses cards and includes a more desperate storyline (to use a reductive but accurate description). The story won’t win anything; a black fog is engulfing the world and the king has gone to rally support to fight it. Katia (you) has decided to join her father in his quest. Aided by a ...
