LucasArts? point-and-click adventure game ?The Secret of Monkey Island? was incredibly successful among game players, providing a funny and eventful distraction from the tedium of 1990 life, whatever that may have been. The inevitable sequel failed to surprise the gaming public when it followed the example of most other inevitable releases and occurred, and it followed a roughly similar format to the first game. There were a number of changes though: this game was quite larger, and with more for the player to do. It also had the advantage of being able to build upon its predecessor?s strengths and weaknesses. ...
