I bought Rainbow Six for the sole purpose of playing it online, although it has been out for a while it is still my prefered choice for playing online as the team nature about it appeals to me. I can't say that the normal (off-line) game fills me with enjoying and as far as I am concerned it is better just to use that for practise than playing the game although after completing the game and playing countless hours online I don't need much practise. The game is so addictive and I'm sure other players of the game will agree, I've had it over a year now and I still play it online at least twice a week.

You will probably get away with running this game on a P166 with a reasonable graphics card, maybe a voodoo 2? I have been running it on a P200MMX, 32Mb and a Voodoo 3 2000 (16Mb) and it couldn't really run any better.
