Advantages: Many little improvements made

There was a huge ammount of hype and media attention before the release of Resident Evil 2 especially since it took so long to be released. By the time it was upon us it was obvious it would become one of the Playstations most wanted games and it did.
The storyline leaves of at the end of Resident Evil 1 only this time your objective is to find a way out of Racoon City by battling the zombies, spiders, dogs and other creatures that are in the way. All the puzzles and problems are still there to add another side to the game. The problems are fairly simple and the solutions don't take very long to figure out but ithey benefit the game immensely.
There are various stages to the game. You may see yourself changing settings regularly as you progress through the game, first your in a police station and the next miunte you are in a lab.
The basic control system used for the original game is also here for RE2. You control your chosen character from a variety of different views depending on where you are. The camera angles are very well chosen and help to highlight important objects or to hide suprises. The sound is also well designed to suit each section of the game.
I still can;t decide whther Resident Evil 2 is better than the original. I like the setting of the first but the improvements made for the sequal make it a better game. Both games are a classic and if you can't decide which to buy then get both, you'll be entertained for weeks.
