Advantages: Good enhanced graphics, scary and quite horrific, quite long gameplay with cool secrets

Disadvantages: some bosses are difficult to defeat, not enough ammunition at parts of the game

Resident Evil 2 also known as in other countries Biohazard 2 indeed is an impressive game. You can get a mixed set of weapons, unlike the 1st version where you only had a few basic weapons, and the whole logical Umbrella secret becomes revealed.

This is definitely a sequel worth getting, because it is by far better than the first one in graphics, gameplay, and visuals. The people in this game are drawn out more realistically and the zombies and enemies look way horrifying than any other survival horror game you've seen. The game reveals the complete secret about how the zombies were produced, "Umbrella" was behind it all, and how it all ends. It's definitely worth getting even if you haven't played the first one because it links on really well and gives you background information of the first one. The visuals are absolutely amazing in comparison to any other encountered (apart from Silent Hill). The sound effects really can make you tremble in the night, especially with those moaning zombies around the corner.

Indeed this is an impressive game, which I have completed several times. Capcom has really put alot of effort into this. You can even reveal new characters once you complete the game a few times with certain rankings and saves. It has two discs one about Claire's side of life and one about Leon, situated at the same places but with different adventures to bide.
