I love this game (Resident Evil 2)

Advantages: Good graphics, Good storyline, Full of suspense

Disadvantages: It retains the same annoying controls as its predescesor

Resident Evil II is the sequel to the original Resident Evil which was a very succesful game.

The storyline from Resident Evil is continued in Resident evil II, in the original there was an outbreak of the T virus in a mansion house/Laboratory on the outskirts of Racoon city and S.T.A.R.S (Special Tactical And Rescue Squad) is sent in to clear up the area. In Resident Evil II Racoon City itself is the scene of the action, a new virus, the G Virus, has been unleashed and i has turned the inhabitants of the city into flesh eating zombies with bad complexions and you get to play as one of two characters, each with ther own plot, in an attempt to get out of the city alive.

the first character is called Claire Redfield she is the sister of Chris redfield, a S.T.A.R.S character from the original Resident Evil she enters the city to find it deserted and is then drawn into the fight for survival when she is swarmed over by Zombies.

The second Character is called Leon and he is a S.T.A.R.S member and he arrives in town to find the city deserted and when he finds a corpse in the street it turns out to be a little more mobile than the average dead body in the ensuing chaos Leon meets up with claire and they begin working together in an attempt to survive.

The plot line to Resident evil II is very clever, it is actually more than one game, heres an example of how the plots of the two characters storylines intertwine.

If you play as Claire in the introduction she runs out of the backdoor of a diner where she enters an alley, this is where Leon sudddenly appears and tells her to duck before shooting a Zombie which is behind her. If, however, you play Leons disc then you se Leon run down an alley where he is suddenly almost knocked over by Claire who jumps out of a back alley door, Leon then tells her to duck and shoots a Zombie which is behind her. throughout the game these characters suddenly pop out of nowhere and meet one another, s
o although you can complete the game with only one character you raelly have to play through with both characters to get the whole story.

This is an excellent game and i definetely recommend this game it is really exellent, the controls are rather sluggish but the great graphics and in depth storyline make up for this.
