Runescape is a massive online adventure game where you have the ability to train your player and make it grow stronger. As you grow stronger new things unlock that will make you better and that will give you more abilities in the game.

The game is set the old days as you use sword, boys and arrows, fictional magic to gain better in combat. Even the monsters inside the game are in this theme as we have dragons, giants and dwarfs.

The game starts of boring as you don't know where to go and what to do. However don't let this put you off playing as it will get interesting and addicting at round about level 40 of each skill. During the game you can attend free and member's quest and most of them are quite interesting however there are some really boring ones to like 'prince ali's rescue'. Some quest will allow you to start new skills e.g. rune mystery which will allow you to start rune crafting.

What I like about the game is that you have a wide range of skills you can advance on.
This allows you not to get bored and gives you the ability to train on the skill you like most.

The game is mostly about the next skills: melee, range and magic.

Melee consists of three skills:

Attack: This will allow you to hit your target more frequently.
Strength: This will allow you to do more damage to your target.
Defense: This reduces the change of you being hit high and frequently.

The better you get in melee the better weapons and armor you can wear. This will help you with getting higher hits from weapons and less frequent damage from armor.

Range is all about the use of bow and arrow. The better you are the better your bows can be which will deal more damage. If you use better bows you can automatically use better arrows which will also deal with damage. Advantages of range is that you can fight your monster or opponent without being hit.

Magic has several different uses. It can be used for combat but it can be used to reduce the defense of your opponent. Again the better you are the better your magic spells will be providing you use the correct runes.

Ones you have mastered a fighting style you can go to the wilderness and fight other players. Every style as its advantage and disadvantage towards the other two styles during combat.

Melee is strong against range but is weak against magic.
Range is strong against magic but weak against melee.
Magic is strong against melee but weak against range.

These are not the only skills you can practice. All players will be able to practice: mining, smithing, fishing, prayer, cooking, woodcutting, fire making, crafting and rune crafting. If you're a member you can practice some more skills which include: fletching, herblore, Agility, thieving, slayer, farming, hunter, constructing and the latest skill added summing.

Personally I think the game is very interesting as it has such a wide range of possibilities. However from time to time it does get boring as most movements of your character is the same although Jagex has tried to improve it. Some movements aren't very realistic for example when I fight a Hill Giant and hit him in the balls (continuously) with a weapon the Giant doesn't seem to notice it.

The graphic of the game aren't too good, however the use of colors in certain areas is good but the quality does fall behind.

Jagex has introduced a loads of music to fit the landscape your in but I've got such a feeling that all the music has been played on the same instrument which could work on your nerves from time to time.

Conclusion, It is a very good game as there is always something to do. The things that let the game down from time to time are just the graphics and the music.
