Advantages: Editing tools and DIY competitions
Disadvantages: Sometimes crashes
Now this is a great game for all those who love managing and those who like to play the beautiful game. I had the original Amiga version of this game and it gave the option to manage a team which enabled you to play around with tactics and then see the result of the match.
The other side of the game which allowed gamers to play football matches and do tactics too was the best part of this game. The gameplay was great and lots of fun curling in those shots from 40 yards into the top corner of the net. You could really score some super goals with this game.
The camera angles are top down view but the newly released game has 3D installed. I used to love how slick the passing was and in my opinion was a very addictable game.
The football pitches would also be different and vary from match to match e.g. chequered pitch, frosty pitch and so on. The edit function on this game was really useful allowing gamers to edit names and teams. You could also create your own DIY competitions and play multiplayer tournaments.
This was one of the first football games to let the referee book players and send them off which was a major step forward for these types of games.
I believe that this is the best sensible soccer game to date.
Summary: Great game for the Amiga and have lost count of how many hours I spent on this game

- 11/06/09 Fantastic game, you needed real skill to string together a few curling long passes, then top it all off with a diving header!! |

- 25/05/09 The name of the game hardly makes it sound interesting! |
