Quake 3 Arena in general: ... 3 arena is a top quality multi-player PC game. For those new to the Quake games, if there are any of you, they basically involving fragging (killing) as many alien-like beings as possible in order to save the world. Well that was until Quake 3. Quake 1 and 2 were linear affairs like Doom whereas Quake 3 is played in an arena much like the Roman Coliseum only a futuristic version. Quake 3 is a predominan...

... 3 Arena has lost out somewhat to Unreal Tournament its a shame both games came out at the same time. If its any consolation this website offers forumns, hosted sites, downloads and lots of links. Its well worth checking out the links as they can have things which planetQuake havn't. The site has some useful features like an index for all files on the site, Mods of the week, levels of the week and models of the week are a couple of coutdown charts for some files. Check out some tips on the site as they can be quite handy if you need help. The site is well set out just like all www.planet.......'s and there are 3 different sections to the site, one for quake, ...

It is pretty much similar to Asteroids, but does has a few additions which make it a little more 'varied' to play but not that much more fun...in fact, I still prefer Asteroids... The idea is simple. You have a spaceship and there are asteroids floating around the screen, different coloured to match their strengths. Some need to be hit several times before they break up but when they do they split into smaller asteroids until they are small enough to be blasted into space dust. You have three ships at our disposal to achieve this wh...
