Advantages: Nuclear Power, Boats, Planes Skyscrapers!

Disadvantages: Alien attack! Earthquake!

Sim City 2000 drained my early teenage years away. I would spend hours every night, laying pipelines, electricity cables, residential, commercial and industrial areas, a massive infrastructure of roada and highways, railroads and airports. The sound of a fog horn in the harbour would bring a feeling of inner joy as if I was Isambard Kingdom Brunel. I would level ground, demolish trees, create lakes and dam rivers for my hydroelectric power plant. I could quell riots, extinguish fires, destroy alien invaders only to have all my work go to pot with sloppy maintenance on my nuclear power station, causing a massive blast obliterating half my city. I would feel the pain of the people when I put up taxes to pay for the repairs and revel in the proud moments when the papers would speak of my success. But the media could be so cruel, they were the first to slander me and request my dismissal. But I was King of Sim City!
I was 13 and a god!
On two 3 1/2 inch floppies I held the fate of millions.

If you can get a copy - Do It!

But it will take your life over.

Forget the sims - this is where it started

Summary: Do something special - Build your dream!
