Premium Review uk.won.net: Wordox - Very addictive (242 words)
by - written on 14/10/00 (Very useful, 324 readings)
Rating:

Ever since playing Wordox, I have found it very addictive. It is a little bit like scrabble. You play by making words from your letters, and you have to link your word onto letters already on the board. When you use your opponents letters, you poach their points as well, and pluralising words is common practice. One piece of advice, if you have a long word, don't feel too secure about scoring it, because someone can just put an 'S' on the end of it, and bang goes your score. Premium Review Paradox? Nah, Wordox! (382 words)

I would like to thank Dooyoo for allowing us to read someone's opinion about a fantastic on-line word game called 'Wordox'. We read Pingcuter's opinion on Wordox and decided to give it a go. I can see why, it's great! So what's Wordox? It is heavily based on Scrabble with an added twist. You use just the one rack of letters, with a maximum of 4 people playing. The object, like Scrabble, is to make as many points as possible using the letters on the single ...  Read the complete review

Do you like Scrabble? Then you will love this! Wordox is based at ukWon.net. It is like playing scrabble but passing your letters on to the next person. If you start the game, you can choose how long each turn lasts and what the winning points will be (e.g. first to 40 points wins). The big difference is when you have your go you can take the other persons letters and knock it off their score. Warning, it is very addictive. There is also a chat facility, and you can see how much better other people are than you. For beginners there is another part of the site that does not affect your overall score. On Wednesday evening ...  Read the complete review
