Great value , streaming is awesome

I recently decided to buy an additional AV Given that I already own two feature packed receivers (wifi, and Bluetooth) I chose the AVR-X2000 based on a great price point ($100 cheaper than the Onkyo TX-NR 626), and a long time curiosity about Denon

The X2000's Clean, Logical layout of the back panel made an immediate positive impression! Making the wire, and cable connections was much easier than on my Onkyo's. I set up the Audessy MultEQ® XT (an upgrade from the Audessy for the TX-NR626 and 828). It was simple, and worth the effort. It allows for optimizing the room for up to 8 seats.

My first test was On Pandora and CD's with a variety of Genres of music. The sound was good, but appeared to only have 2 channel Stereo, and Dolby Pro logic as listening mode options. I knew that other options should have been available. Nothing clearly addressed this. After playing around a little we figured it out! Apparently the full list of listening modes is only available after pressing, and holding either the Movie, or Music button down on your Remote. this will trigger a drop down menu of choices based on the signal/source you are listening to at that time. Once I figured this out, I soon found the Denon to have excellent Sound Quality and Flexibility.

I used "The Man of Steel" Blu-Ray Opening Scene to test the Home theater, Great Discrete sounds using Master HD 7.1 format. Ships flying around the room- engaging, explosions -impactful! Great SQ at a Great Value

AVR X2000 Denon receiver for your home cinema

Denon's home cinema line up for 2013 is dubbed the X-range. This 500GBP receiver offers upgradability that is exceptional to the lower versions in the variety.
That is the very first receiver in the 2013 lineup to offer more than 5.1. If you believe you will consider updating your system using an added set of satellites for environment placement that is better, here is the lowest-end model in the variety you should think about.
It is also the least expensive receiver in the scope to provide Zone 2 sound, which allows you to place the 'added' two channels to power a distinct pair of loudspeakers, in a different room maybe.

The Denon AVR-X2000 has seven HDMI interfaces - six on its one simple plus back -access outlet in the front. As you'd suppose, these support 3D pass-through in addition to sophisticated audio codecs including dts HD DolbyTruHD and Dolby IIz.
This uses a set up mic plus a string of tones passed through each loudspeaker to evaluate the loudspeaker amount that is right for every channel.

You will find this in the lower-end Denon AVR-X1000 which is less 150 pounds, though. Apart from offering 7.1 sound instead of 5.1, another significant upgrade in this version over that one is 4K upscaling. Is an important little bit of future proofing for home cinema enthusiasts, although that is of small use given the deficiency of 4K TVs on store shelves.
Another pair of attributes that's just come to receivers lately is web connectivity.

A Remote Control program that lets these cellular telephones communicate together with the AVR X2000 over your house web has been created by Denon. Naturally a classic-design remote control is included also.

The best Cinema Amplifier I've ever owned

This Home Cinema Receiver is quite possibly the best one I''ve ever owned. The sound quality is absolutely superb. Whilst watching a movie the sound stage will totally immerse you making you really feel like your in the middle of all the action. It doesn''t disappoint in stereo either. Whilst listening to music the sound is rich and deep with great clarity in the bass, treble and mid-tones. Obvisously your millage will vary with your speaker choice but if your forking out for this then I assume youve done your research on a decent set of speakers to match. Beyond it''s sound performance it has great connectivity. I was able to hook it up to my network no problems and had plenty of inputs for all my home cinema gadgets. Once connected to the net it also streamed music from my Spotify account with no problems. The picture quality when upscaling SD video to HD is also worth mentioning, there was very little noise introduced and the images again look great on my full HD projector screen. I can''t recommend this product enough.
