Advantages: Powerful..smooth quick transient response...Beautifully sleek...Inexpensive...

Disadvantages: Very heavy....but I like that....means well built...

I recently got this Power Amplifier out of storage since I've now retired from the Special Forces Airborne Commandos Air Force,...and now using it in my main Home Theater with my Anthem avm 50 processor and signature paradigm speakers and subwoofers...The Sony Ta-N9000ES Power Amp is still a high quality beautiful sounding amplifier which stands up to the best of them....today an amplifier of this caliber would cost five to seven thousand dollars...so if you still have one of these beautiful beasts...congratulations...If your surround speakers can produce bass the Sony ES Amp will make them deliver in spades....with smooth and delicate transient response...and to make my system 7.1;.. I'm using a parasound stereo power amp for the front speakers...perfect power match for the Sony...and for the bottom end,..two signature paradigm servo-15 subwoofers to crack the foundation....love it...this Sony TA-N9000Es power amp will probably last forever,...its still sleek, beautiful and powerful....and all mine....wouldn't it be great to feel that good about your home theater when you know you have great equipment....I hope everybody does...Now time to listen to my new Mummy...dvd that is...
