Advantages: Every single prodcut Adobe makes in a single package

Disadvantages: The price and most users will not use all of the products

WOW what a product! I have been using the suite for well over 3 months and I have to say it must be my favourite set of programs I have on my computer.

Let's kick off with the features! First it has pretty much every single product adobe sell. Second its compatibility with Microsoft Office programs make it ideally suited to a Microsoft Office way of doing things with some Adobe features thrown in.
The most used out of the suite is Adobe Acrobat Professional. I use it for compatibility; it allows me to convert any Microsoft Office file into a PDF file ready for printing or giving out to customers via Adobe Reader. I use Acrobat to give customers information without them accidentally deleting something like they could do in a Word document.
The second most used is Photoshop, I haven't got around to utilising all of its features but it is pretty easy to get to grips with. I have created logos and other company pieces via the software such as the swish in our letter heads and business cards
Overall the package is great, but it comes at a price. The suite costs around £2000 and for a business the productivity from the purchase is priceless but for the home user it would be a waste of money. With the range of open-source software like Gimp and with Microsoft's 'Save as PDF' add-in for Word you can still do a lot without purchasing this great suite, and if you really want it there is always a student licence which more than halves the price.

Summary: Great package but way too expensive for the home user

Sounds ideal if you need these apps in your office but you're right, it's quite expensive for the average home user. Welcome to Dooyoo :)
