Anna Sui Point Makeup Remover
by GhazGhaz
I really like Anna Sui make up range as it has a very pretty packaging and looks very girly and at a high quality. Brought this when I was in Japan.
Product:
Oil based eye make up remover. It removes heavy eye make up easily, can also be used for lip make up.
Packaging:
Comes in a a pink ... coloured plastic bottle.
How to use:
Put adequate amount unto cotton pads and remove eye and lip makeup gently. you don't need a huge amount at all, only 2 squirts will be sufficient enough to remove all eye make up.
Brand:
Anna Sui (born August 4, 1964) is an American fashion designer. Sui is known for her vivid, colorful and cheerful designs. Her clothing, fragrance, cosmetic, eye-wear and accessories lines sell at Anna Sui stores in over 50 countries.
My View:
I find this make up remover excellent only for the eye area. It is oil based so you don't need alot to remove any make up including water proof make up and gel eye liners. It also protects delicate eyes, it doesn't sting at all, you can feel comfortable in being a bit rough as it's very gentle and doesn't hurt the eyes.
It leaves your skin feeling moisturized after use. so no need to use any other products to make skin smooth at all.
It can also be used on the rest of the face, however I suggest using a cleanser or washing your face after usage as it can leave skin oily and you will break out in spots after a couple times of use.
Extra Info:
113ml
$21

Anna Sui Mascara
by carolcana
love the smell, love the design
first, I am asian, not that i have tiny eyes, but my eye lashes are short, and thin. almost look like i have no eyelashes without mascara
- this mascara is smthing i will always use bc it does the job without clumping, i don't mind reapplying 2-3 times to get the job done
- smell so good ... (all Ana Sui product has distinct rose fragrance) , i can't stress that enough. Basically opening the bottle and smelling it while putting on the mascara just make my morning bright. (putting makeup on should be smthing joyful, right???)
-get the work done. Although it said its not waterproof but its definitely more waterproof than some cheaper brand waterproof mascara i had
- i tried cotton pad with water and rubbing it really hard and i only got little products off, where the cheap ELF waterproof comes off easily and flake with i rub my eye
the only thing i dont like about this mascara is that its really hard to take it off, u really have to use the anna sui makeup remover otherwise it does require more time and patient with other brands Read the complete review |

Anna Sui Eye Gloss
by coventry123
After trying, and loving, the Dolly Girl on the Beach fragrance by Anna Sui her fragrances soon become top of my wish list and I lusted after each and every one of them. It wasn't until a few months later I realised she actually had a cosmetics collection and after being so impressed by her fragrances I didn't have a second thought about ... buying other products endorsed by Sui.
**What is it?**
It is supposed to be an eye shadow that can be used as a lone application or to add a gloss over the top of pre-existing eye shadows. It promises to open up the eye and make you look great for the party season.
**My Experience**
Amongst my Anna Sui cosmetics haul was the eye gloss. I chose a deep purple colour as I thought it would go well with my eye shadow collection which is mainly dark greys.
The Eye gloss comes in a small black tub with a black water tight lid which has a floaty, girly pattern embossed upon it. I have no qualms with the packaging it is girly and does its job!
The contents feels quite rubbery and hard and I found it hard to apply and I tried applying this with both an eye shadow brush, a lip gloss brush and my fingers to no avail, I expected it to glide on my lids as the word 'gloss' connotes this!
To be honest I didn't particularly like the colour either it looks more like lilac when it is eventually applied which looks quite childish! I tried to apply it over a lighter grey eye shadow and this completely did not work it just looked like a child's painting on my eyelid! Just awash with colour-and not a very nice colour at that!
**Availability and Cost**
I paid a massive £16 for this gloss and it definitely did not live up to my expectations I would definitely not buy any more of Anna Sui's cosmetics but will instead stick to her fragrances! Her cosmetic and fragrance collection are available from Debenhams and other online stores.
Overall, I think this is an overpriced eye gloss-if you can even call it that. The colour is misleading and it is ever so difficult to apply I wouldn't go recommending this in a hurry! Read the complete review |
