The caller makes his selection via the telephone keyboard. If the selected number is busy, there is the option of leaving a message on the assigned mailbox.

The "greeting and transfer" function welcomes the caller with an informative and individual message then transfers the call to a collective number, e. g. to the Sales Department.

To take the load off the central office, the tiptel 345 pro may also be used as a queuing system in the event of overflow. If the called number is busy, the caller is asked to wait. The call manager forwards the call as soon as the required number becomes available.

The "menu-guided information system" is provided as an automatic messaging service for new products, events etc. Via voice guidance, the caller can choose between up to eight different announcements with a maximum length of three minutes each.
