Sanex Dermo Invisible Roll On
by thriftygiftyisme
Unfortunately I have hyper hydrolysis, (basically I have excessive sweating, but not in the traditional form from feet, palms of hands and underarms, mine is my back, even on a winters day and I been out you could literally ring the t-shit out, so finding a good deodorant for me has been a lot of trial and ... error.
=Smell=
Who doesn't like to smell nice whilst using a deodorant and have a fresh feeling, the one that seems to make the best improvement for me is the Dero range from Sanex.
=Packaging=
The product has a white and pink plastic packaging, the roller ball in half enclosed into this section of the deodorant. The unique point with Samex is that the deodorant ball is upside down compared to the rest of the products on the market. It sits in a clear case
=labelling=
On the front there is a white label, with the Sanex logo on which is in blue and white. Underneath this is the product description, "dermo invisible" and that it is an anti-perspirant 24 hour deodorant and that it contains 0% alcohol. The label goes on further to explain that it minimises white marks, which to me is a plus point, although once I have put deodorant on I do try to wait a minute or so for it to dry before I dress.
The bottle size is a 50ml, and a shelf life of 12 months once opened, I don't think one of mine has seen more than a month never mind 12months.
The ingredients are listed on the product, that it is dermatologic ally tested, and it is made by Colgate-Palmolive, with contact details given.
=The Product=
Once you taken the container out of the lid, there is a fresh mild smell, not over powering, like a gentle breeze and fresh washing out on the line.
You just use as a normal roller ball, and roll up and down until you have enough of the deodorant on. For me I have to have someone to cover my back in this. I am pleased to say that the deodorant dries really quickly, without any residue,
Just replace ready for next time.
=Price and Availability=
This can be purchased from many retailers from Supermarkets to chemists, even discount stores. Generally they retail for £1.50 to £2.00, although this is dearer than some other roll-on deodorants, for me the difference this has made is amazing, and even if I was paying £10 a go it is worth it for me.
There are other selections in the Sanex range, and I find them all as effective. Read the complete review |

Right Guard Womens Xtreme Invisible
by karalouk
I am a member of BzzAgent, which is a website that matches you up with certain products and sends you them in the post to try out at home. The latest product which I have been trying out is Right Guard Xtreme Invisible anti-perspirant deodorant.
I'm quite fussy as far as deodorant is concerned. I know exactly which ones are my ... favourites, which ones to avoid and which ones are just average. I have previously had a terrible experience with Right Guard deodorant, so was a bit dubious about trying this one. However I'm glad I gave it a try because it's very good and has restored my faith in Right Guard!
The deodorant comes in a 150ml aerosol can. The can is black (with a lid) and has pink/white writing. I like the design of the can, it looks modern and attractive.
The smell of a deodorant is very important to me. A lot of deodorants smell chemically and wrong. Right Guard Xtreme Invisible smells lovely and nothing like you would expect. It smells more like a body spray than an anti-perspirant deodorant. It's very strong, florally and womanly. The can doesn't focus on the scent of the deodorant and doesn't make any claims about the scent (it mainly focuses on the 'invisible' aspect), so it was a nice surprise to find that it smells so good!
Right Guard Xtreme Invisible contains no alcohol and is dermatologically tested. I have been using this deodorant for a couple of weeks and it's been really kind to my skin. My underarms have suffered no irritation (not even after shaving) and my skin feels soft and smooth. The deodorant is said to have a 'new unbeatable stain protection' that combats 'white, yellow and oily stains'. I can't honestly say that I've ever suffered with yellow or oily stains, but I've certainly seen my fair share of white marks! The deodorant lives up to its claims and leaves absolutely no white marks, even when sprayed close to skin and clothes (directions state that you should shake well before use, use in short bursts, hold upright about 15cm from underarm and spray). I actually sprayed the deodorant on to a black sheet of paper to see what marks it would leave, but it came out and dried absolutely transparent. Very impressive!
Right Guard Xtreme Invisible is said to offer 'Xtreme protection against sweat, odour and stains' and claims to have 'scientifically proven 72 hour protection'. The 72 hour claim is a total exaggeration and is completely ridiculous - there will never be a deodorant that protects for 3 days! However I do find that the deodorant is quite effective and I'm happy to wear it all day, usually without the need to re-apply (depending on my level of activity. I have needed to re-apply on occasions!). In my experience many anti-perspirants don't tackle perspiration like they promise to and some anti-perspirants even make perspiration worse! I feel confident using Right Guard Xtreme Invisible and know that I won't get clammy or wet underarms, which can cause wet patches on clothes and destroy confidence. My underarms feel dry and comfortable for hours at a time.
Right Guard Xtreme Invisible can be found in places like Tesco and Boots, and generally costs around the £2.00 mark. I'm happy to recommend. Read the complete review |

Right Guard Womens Xtreme Invisible

For me finding a reliable anti perspirant deodorant is a must, I have a manual job and I also do intensive Zumba classes twice a week so I need something that will keep me fresh but also dry without leaving stains of obvious deodorant use.
As a Bzz Agent I was provided with 2x150ml cans to sample and offer my feedback on. ...
The design itself is quite eye catching with its black can and striking pink design. In all honesty if I find a deodorant that I like I tend to stick with it and I have been using Garnier for the past few months and had no reason to complain about it, other than the dirty stains that I found would be left on my work blouse, so when I received this sample I decided to try it and see if this improved as much as it promised too.
The fragrance is nice enough and not too overpowering, the only thing I did not really like was the xtreme blast I received when I applied it to my underarms.
I have used Right Guard in the past but have never really been all that impressed with it as I found that after a high level of activity I would not smell all that fresh but as this was a free sample I was willing to put my hygiene to the test!!
I have now been using the product for a full week and have been really impressed by the performance, having put it through its paces at 3 intensive Zumba classes and the recent hot weather we have been experiencing and of course my day job where I have to do a lot of lifting which causes me to sweat a lot, particularly under arm.
My blouses have been considerably better in terms of the amount of residue left behind. I also really like that when the product is applied there is no powder residue that flakes off the skin leaving white marks on my clothes. A big tick in my box on this factor.
Since using this product there has been no unpleasant smell from my underarm and I have remained dry and fresh all day through. Even going the next day without having to reapply, another tick in the box for me as there is nothing worse than having to carry around a spray to freshen up halfway through your night out or exercise class.
I feel that as far as anti perspirants go this is now top of the list whereas before I would have avoided purchasing the Right Guard Brand on the future, now I think it will be a firm favourite as it certainly does what it says on the tin. Read the complete review |
