Right Guard Womens Xtreme Invisible

A few weeks ago was offered a free trial of this deoderant through Bzz agent. Bzz agent are a company that promote products through word of mouth advertising. They send people the product to try, in return for those people sharing their good and bad experiences of the product with others.
I was given 2 full size cans of this ... deoderant for my own use and some vouchers worth £1 off to give to people. When I went to Tesco, I found that the cans were on a half price sale at £1.14 (instead of £2.29) so I went one better, and I bought some cans to pass on to female members of my family.
The packaging to this is very appealing and feminine looking. I love the combination of bright pink against black, and I would pick this on the supermarket shelf due to this factor. The can contains 150ml of product, and though it isn't a compressed mini can like some brands do, I think this is small enough to carry round in a handbag as its quite compact.
Using this, I have found that it has a nice feminine scent that is a bit floral - although obvious when you get close to it, its not overpowering compared to any other scent I may be wearing.
The invisible claim is quite good. I find that it I have had no patches of white appearing on my clothes, and even if I spray this quite close to my skin, I don't get the powdery residue you get with some brands. One of the things that Bzz got people to do was spray their usual deoderant brands onto a piece of black card - doing this made me realise that all my deoderants are good at this aspect, though I have experienced this from other brands in the past.
One thing that was brought to my attention doing this spray test onto card was this is quite a 'wet' deoderant. It didn't dry at all on the card, and I find that I can feel quite wet after I have applied it.
The 72 hour claim is a tough one. I find that I can still feel myself sweating while wearing this one so I would never leave it that long to test it, and to be honest, I don't like that sticky feeling you have if your armpits are a bit damp. I tested this out when we went out for the day with the kids, and in spite of walking round in the sun all day and feeling rather sweaty, I didn't actually smell when I got home. I even asked my hubbie to see if I still smelt pleasant, and he agreed that it was still a fresh scent after about 12 hours of use.
I'm confident that this is ok for general activities, but I don't think that I would choose to wear it if I were heavily exercising. I have noticed that I have smelt a bit unpleasant after running about on school days where I have to walk up a hill to get to the kids school, and we often walk at quite a pace to get there on time. Although I have not tested this with a workout session, I feel it can't cope with about 15 minutes of walking, so an hour of exercise would not be pleasant wearing this brand.
Overall, I don't mind wearing this as a general deoderant if I am not planning anything too energetic, and I am happy enough with the scent and the invisible properties, but honestly, I can't recommend it if I were exercising or doing anything strenuous as I just hate the wet sticky feeling I get even if I don't smell horrendously. At £2.29 it is comparable in price to other brands, but I think I'd rather stick to other brands that do keep me fresher as well as not leaving marks on my clothes. Read the complete review |

Right Guard Womens Xtreme Invisible

I have been a member of Bzz Agent for several months now and have received several different products to try. One item I recently received was Right Guard Woman Xtreme Invisible.
Packaging
Right Guard Xtreme Invisible comes in the standard metal spray can, the spray can is mainly black and bright pink, it has the name ... Right Guard written at the top in white writing with the words Xtreme Invisible written in the centre, beneath this is further information about the product.
The back of the spray can is plain black and covered with white writing, this makes up all of the product information including facts about the deodorant, directions for use, ingredients and warnings.
The spray can has a black plastic lid on the top which when removed reveals the black spray button top where the deodorant comes from.
The deodorant
Right Guard Xtreme Invisible is a spray deodorant which is designed to protect against sweat, odour and stains, it has a long term protection formula against white, yellow and oily stains on clothing.
The deodorant is scientifically proven to protect for 72 hours, personally I find this a little unnecessary as deodorant is generally something most people apply every day (well I do) so needing it to last 72 hours for me is not needed, 24 hours would be plenty in my opinion, but at least you know it is going to be long lasting.
The fragrance of Right Guard Xtreme Invisible is said to be long lasting, when I first sprayed the deodorant I noticed that it had a floral fragrance to it, this was not strong and over powering but was just the right strength, for me the test would be whether this fragrance lasted, however my first opinion of it was good and I did really like it.
Other facts which I liked about this product was that it was alcohol free and dermatologically tested so it was likely to be gentle on my skin and not cause any irritation.
Directions for Use
The directions for use are pretty much standard for this type of product, you simply hold the can upright 15cm away from your underarm and spray in shirt bursts.
Warnings
Again these are standard for a spray deodorant and include
Do not expose to sunlight or temperatures over 50 degrees.
Do not piece or burn after use.
Do not spray on naked flames.
Keep away from sources of ignition.
No smoking.
Keep out of reach of children.
Use only as directed.
Use in well ventilated areas.
Don't put spray into eyes.
Price and Availability
As I have mentioned I received my Right Guard Xtreme Invisible through Bzz Agent however it is available from shops such as Superdrug and Tesco, I received a 150ml spray can however in these shops a 200ml can is sold for £2.29. This is reasonably priced in comparison with other similar products.
My Opinion
I have been using Right Guard Xtreme Invisible for several weeks now and have been very pleased with this product.
The deodorant is definitely long lasting, I can spray this deodorant under my arms before work in the morning and still feel and smell fresh by the end of the day without having to reapply, personally I have not tested to see if it really lasts 72 hours but I have to agree it is long lasting.
I really like the fragrance if this product, when sprayed it is just the right strength without being too strong, the fragrance does fade but this suits me because I like to wear perfume.
This product is reasonably priced and is within keeping with similar products, I would definitely say it is worth the money.
When I apply this deodorant I do not have to wait ages for it to dry before getting dressed as it really does not leave and white, yellow or oily marks as promised, I can quite happily apply this deodorant whilst dressed and do not have to worry about it leaving and marks on my clothes, it really does what it says it will, the deodorant is gentle on my skin and causes no irritation at all.
This is definitely a product I would purchase again in the future and recommend to anyone. Read the complete review |

As a member of bzzagent I receive free samples to test and coupons to pass onto my friends and family so they can try the product at a reduced price too. One of my latest products has been the Right Guard Invisible Xtreme deoderant spray that says it keeps your clothes stain free and you dry for upto 72 hours. So does it perform? After a ... few weeks use in different weather and occasions here is my opinion.
The deoderant comes in a simple black can with pink on the front which makes it stand out quite nicely from the rest of the white deoderant cans you usually find on the shelf. There is a little lid for the top of it and then it is a simple spray can like any other. I tend to have a shower before bed as I have two small children to organise in the morning so I use the spray immediately after my shower and find it dries quickly and leaves a pleasant fragrance. It is not my favourite fragrance in the world but it is nice enough that I have continued to wear it. It lasts all through the night with no stains on my black pj top. I tend to spray again in the morning out of habit but I did leave it a couple of days when I was staying at home without and it did last the entire day until my next shower.
We've had some pretty sunny days lately which is always the real test for me when you have young children to chase around the park or on long walks to the ducks and I've had no sweat patches, no feeling wet moments or none of that "Oh no, why didn't I bring a little deoderant with me?" moments. It's kept me smelling fresh whilst running around all afternoon which is what I look for.
Right guard say it has triple stain protection -
no yellow stains? Check
No oily stains? Check
No white marks? Check.
So overall, I really like this new deoderant. The only improvement I could suggest upon is the fragrance but it isn't enough that it would put me off. I would definitely recommend this to other people whether they are active or not, as it's left my clothes looking fresh and me feeling fresh. Read the complete review |
