“ Brand: Asda / Spray / Type: Body Spray / Suitable for: Body „
When I am spritzing myself with body spray I really like to go overboard and spray copious amounts all over, so using an expensive one isn't a great option for me as I go through them like nobody's business. This body spray is titled 'hot pink', I am not sure what they are getting at with this name but I would describe this as a light floral fragrance, it has nice subtle tones and is not an overpowering smell. It doesn't smell chemically to me either, which I would expect for such a cheap item. The spray can is a bright pink colour (maybe that's where the name came from!) with a frosted pink plastic lid, which I always discard as soon as I start to use a new can for convenience. This is not meant to be used as an anti perspirant or to control sweating; I use a separate product in addition, but like to use this to spray all over for a general nice clean smell. It lasts surprisingly well for such a cheap product, and when I get changed after coming home from work I always catch a whiff of this which I sprayed that morning. This costs 47p in Asda for a 100ml can and this lasts me about a week, considering the amount I use I think this is a great price and paying any more for a body spray like this would seem wasteful to me.
I saw this in Asda yesterday and thought for the price it cost then it was worth a try. I normally use Impulse Body Spray, but I tend to stock up when it is on offer for £1 a can, instead of the normal, lot more expensive price. This is Asda's own brand of Body Spray and cost a bargain 47p for a 75ml can. It looked a bit more expensive and also smelt nicer and stronger than I though at well. The tin is quite a slimline tin and looks the same shape as all the other 75ml tins out there. It is a bright pink but not shocking pink. The writing is in white and this stands out well enough. It looks totally girly and I don't mind that. This is an aerosol spray and has a small plastic lid covering the spray. I would say the smell is a little like Parma Violets, and it is a sweet smell. I think it smells like those sweet necklaces that were circles that were on a bit string - can't think what they were called. I don't like overly perfumed, floral scents, so this was nice for me. The spray came out in a firm jet and gave good coverage. I sprayed this first thing in the morning and I could still smell a slight hint of this at lunch time. I didn't mind to reapply this due to the price. There is a couple of other scents in the range which I will try since I liked this one. This is fresh, cheap and nice and would suit teenagers upwards. Not sure what the age range is, but I wouldn't see my 70 year old gran liking this (after all it doesn't smell like lavender or Avon Timeless!), but i'm sure others would love it, and at that price it is worth it, just so you can write about it!
I work in a hot environment and I am constantly spending an absolute fortune on deodorants and body sprays. In my line of work I need to smell fresh and clean there is nothing worse than someone getting up close and personal when they have a body odour problem and I am paranoid about this, hence I have literally tried hundreds of different versions of this type of product over the years. Some body sprays can cost around the £2 mark for the top branded products however recently I noticed a pleasant fragrance worn by a work colleague and she told me that it was body spray which she had purchased from the Asda Essential Care range called Hot Pink Body Spray. Needless to say the next time I was shopping in the store I popped a couple of cans of this product in my basket. I was quite surprised that the sprays came in a few different varieties and only cost 47p each!!! A total bargain in my opinion as I always just blindly tend to buy Impulse which retails at around four times the price of this one. The spray is completely unmissable on the shelf as it comes in a very shocking bright pink metal cannister with the words "Hot Pink" written in white across the front. It is relatively simple in design however this can be forgiven when you consider its price tag. There is a clear plastic pink cap and the item is dispensed in spray form. The product can be used all over the body and the manufacturers state that it will leave you feeling refreshed and fragranced. Using the product is simple just like any other similar product just shake the can well and spray lightly all over from a distance of around 15cm. Immediately you feel a light mist which has an incredibly pleasant fragrance. It feels light when it goes on and you are not engulfed in a cloud like some of the turbo cannisters available on the market. I suffer from allergies and asthma and I am pleased to report that there was no sneezing or coughing and I did not require to use my inhaler after applying the product. I noticed a wonderful cooling effect on my skin which was lovely in that hot weather we had a few weeks ago which alas feels like a distant memory now!!!!! The fragrance reminded me of strawberry candy bon bons. It was not sickly sweet and the scent did last for a good while however I have to say that it is probably not as potent as some other body sprays that I have used in the past. However generally I was pleased with the overall results and would highly recommend that you carry a can of this in your hand bag. This product comes with Asda Try Me Love Me money back guarantee. In which they will refund and replace the product if you are not completely satisfied with it. However I would doubt whether you would need to use this service as I thought this was generally great value for money. Overall worth a try.
Topping up on my body spray collection last week I came across this priced at the small price of 47p and so picked up and one of the other varieties on offer (Cool Lilac, same price, same store brand) to try out. I am a massive fan of feeling fresh and fragrant and usually spend alot of money per week on this particular addiction of mine cos as a smoker (I know I know before you tell me of!!!f lol) I'm aware that I can smell like an ashtray and body-sprays just help me to disguise the smell a little for a freshen up and of course I like one's that are not only ok to wear on my body but also my clothes if possible. In my day handbag at the minute I have a couple of body sprays residing in their and use them regular when I'm out on the go! The Packaging.... Bright pink aluminium, cylinder can with matching pink plastic almost transparent lid covering a white aerosol plastic spray push button at the top of it. In light pink and white writing on the front I'm told it's Asda 'Essential' Care Body Spray 'Hot Pink'. On the back of the can I'm told it is a 'Hot pink female body spray', ingredients and how to use it are given, cautions are given, contact details for Asda are there along with a cash back promise if your not entirely satisfied with the product (for any reason) are given, size is stated (as I've told you already) and finally there is a bar-code on there. It is nice enough packaging as it is colour co-ordinated and simple without screaming out for the world to know it's economy or anything like that! A Bit About The Product According To The Back Of The Can.... For use all over the body Leaves you feeling refreshed and fragranced. How To Use It.... Shake can well. Hold can upright and spray lightly over the body from approximately 15cm. My Experience Using It.... Simple to use...this really is. It sprays out as a wet, cool liquid but with no coloured residue and it dries in a minute or so (so I wouldn't feel happy to spray this on my clothes due to the liquid transference). Once on the skin you can't feel it at all, its none greasy, none sticky and certainly doesn't dry skin out so you basically spray and forget it's there. Smell wise well I'd say it's a pink floral fragrance. Nothing distinctive but it's uplifting however still light, fresh and very feminine indeed. It has a fruity undertone to it which to me smells lightly of strawberries and the whole thing is a very warm, sweet and utterly charming and suitable really for any woman of any age to use. The initial smell is quite strong but after a few minutes it really does settle down calmly and stays delicately fragrancing the skin for about an hour or so though it isn't in your face smell wise and really is simply put...elegant. Not the most hard working or long lasting of body sprays but it is easy to use, does smell very pleasant and does give a nice fresh feel to the body. For 47p I advise if your interested to give it a go. It's a nice, ladylike well blended fragrance and I like it alot! Only available in Asda stores.
