“ Brand: Avon / Spray / Type: Deodorant Spray / Subcategory: Body Mist / Suitable for: Body „
I was flicking through my Avon catalogue the other day, when I saw that this was on offer for a price of just £1.25, feeling this was a special price as it normally costs around £2-£3 I thought I'd order myself a bottle.
I really like the sound of the fragrance as it sounded fresh and summery, which was perfect for the summer months, plus the bottle looked summery and funky too!
I was not disappointed with it either - it was easy to spray and did so in a fine mist sense. Which meant that you didn't end up with too much on you and it running off you!
The scent was amazing too, it was refreshing and smelt tropical and floral. You could pick out some tropical fruit smells there which meant it smelt quite refreshing, rather than too floraly which would have meant it ended up sweet.
The scent it strong so that you can definitley smell it, but by no means is it overpowering and the thing I like about this is that it lasts for ages which means there is no need to reapply it throughout the day!
Overall I would highly reccomend this item - especially if it is on offerlike it was when I bought it!
I ordered this from Avon a while ago and it cost me only £1.50, which I think is a very reasonable price to pay for it. It is a bestseller from Avon, and I know a lot of people who have this and are all happy customers. As the body mist I think this is probably better value for money than the eau de toilette itself.
The bottle design is shown in the picture provided by dooyoo. It is orange and pink which I think makes it look very summery and exotic. It is quite girly looking and I like having this out in my bedroom. The name 'brazil beat' also makes this sound quite exotic.
You are probably wondering what this actually smells like. Well I can tell you it smells gorgeous. It is a fruity and floral fragrance which I think is very feminine, it is not too sweet or strong though which is just how I like it to be.
There is 150ml and depending how often you use it, this should last you around a month. I find the fragrance very refreshing and it lasts a really long time. After I have sprayed this people sometimes come up to me and tell me how gorgeous it smells. And I have to agree, I really like this.
The normal price is £3.50, look out for some offers though. You might find this in the clearance items online at the Avon website or you could also try eBay and Amazon as I can't find this in current brochures (unless you are a rep yourself and then you will find this in the back of your demo brochures). I definitely recommend this product.
Well I love this body mist so much that I have bought it lots of times.
I am an Avon Rep and this body mist has been one of my best sellers so far last summer. The smell it gives is so uplifting, refreshing and summery it will get you through a cold winter looking forward to the first sunny day of spring.
The look of the bottle ..... it is 100ml bottle (handy for going in Hand luggage for holiday), it is a spray pump, the mist itself is a bright orange colour and has a small lid on top. The label clearly shows Avon with Brazil beat in funky font and has red yellow and orange block design at the bottom of the label.
You have to press the spray button on the pump a few times to get a good coverage on the body. I usually spray myself in the morning before I leave for work, if i go to a comfort break I spray again, after lunch to get rid of food smells and on my way home just in-case I meet anyone.
You can smell the orange flavour straight away when it has been spray, it is a mixture of other fruits but the orange flavour is pungent in the spray.
The usual price of the spray is £3.50 but it does go to half price a lot and I have only ever paid full price for the item once.
I really like this item and would be ideal for taking on holiday with you as it is so summery and will brighten up your day.
I wasn't tempted to try this until I had smelt it at work and asked someone what it was and they said it was the new fragrance from Avon called Brazil Beat. You can buy this in Body Cream, Perfume and the Body Mist, which is a body spray really.
I looked out for this in the next Avon book and it was on offer for £1.75. Price wise I thought that was ok, but when I saw the proper price of £3.50, I wasn't sure if I would go that far for any Body Spray. The bottle is only 100ml after all, not 1 litre!
This is a pump action spray. I find these last a bit longer than aerosols, as you can squirt out a little if you want. i tend to spray about 10 sprays of this in the morning and that seems to cover my clothes alright.
The bottle is a clear plastic, so you can see the orange liquid through the bottle. The pump for the spray goes all the way to the bottom corner, so you should get a good amount out. The pump part is covered by a small plastic lid that kept coming off in my bag, even though I could hear it click when I pressed it down. There is a wrap around label on the bottle and it has a small picture of some fruit and flowers. The label is a kind of cream colour and the writing is in pinks and oranges.
Now to the scent. Was it any good? Well since I smelt it and then bought it, then I do like the scent. When I first saw the range in Avon I didn't buy it as I thought it looked cheap and nasty. The smell is nice and summery. It is very fruity and I would say it is tangerines, with a slight grapefruit and melon twist. it says it has floral tones, but I can't smell no flowers. I guess there is a heavy musky scent mixed up in here, but I guess that breaks up the fruit scent a bit. I think the smell is delicious. I'm not sure I would say it was a young scent, but I couldn't see my gran ordering it!
The only bad thing is that it doesn't seem to last that long after you spray it. By lunch time i couldn't smell it at all, and I would have expected something of that price point to last a bit longer. It's alright to reapply when it's on special offer, but you could spend a fortune on normal price!
It's nice and I will try the perfume next. Hopefully they will bring out a shower gel, I will stock up while it is on offer, as it is nice for me!
Never knowing what to purchase from Avon (but loving my rep, Anita so I feel obliged to buy a few cheap items a couple of time a month!) this arrived for me last week.
I'm the first to admit that I'm not usually overly keen on Avon fragrances but having seen nothing else in the catalogue worth purchasing I decided to try this and the matching Eau De Toilette to use in the day type of thing and try to stop me using and wasting my posh designer fragrances so much!
100ml cylinder clear bottle which has a orange clear plastic push button sprayer with clear lid that fits neatly over the top. On the front and back of the bottle there is are very pale yellow labels on it. On the front in bright cerise pink writing I'm told it is Avon Brazil Beat Body Mist (Brume parfumee pour le corps) and on the bottom of the bottle there is a splash of bright pink, yellow and orange as a pattern on there. On the back of the bottle the writing is all bright pink and foreign (so I don't understand it lol) the size, recycle and finally contact details are given for Avon. It's a fun looking bright young bottle rather than sophisticated looking but it's perfectly fine and isn't cheap and/or nasty or anything! I do like being able to see the bright orange liquid (spray) through the bottle) so I can see if it needs replacing... providing I want to of course! lol
The Spray Itself....
Well it sprays out very wet indeed but isn't sticky or anything so once sprayed on you do need to give it a couple of minutes to simply soak into the skin. Once that's done your ready to forget it's there and get on with your life as it's none irritating, none greasy and none skin drying out.
So it sprays on rather cold and evenly and the initial smell is really pleasant, not too strong and although the packaging looks quite young in it's approach actually isn't. It's upbeat, uplifting and quite unusual in an none in your face approach. I have no idea what the scent is made up from but to me it's a nice blend of fruits such as mandarin mixed with an undertone of a feminine musky aroma. Although it smells, it isn't heavy or overpowering and it's perfectly fine to use this as a body spray/mist and still use any of your usual perfumes and and antiperspirants and stuff like that.
However the smell vanishes completely from the skin within half an hour of it's application. It's an odd one though cos you do still feel really fresh but I really can't detect it much from the moment I actually spray it on as it fades away quickly. It just isn't a strong smell which actually I did expect from the moment I ordered something calling itself 'Brazil Beat' and being in orange in colour!
Not for me this one as it isn't smelly enough and overpriced (at it's normal price in my opinion for what it is!).
Only available from Avon and the perfume is also available to buy! The Body Mist (this product) is £3.50 a bottle but do look out for offers that are quite often in Avon catalogue.
