Avon Senses Roll on Deodorant
I ordered this from Avon and it arrived a couple of weeks ago. I have been trying to decide over whether to buy this or not for a while now, and when I saw it in the brochure for only £1 the other week I decided I would give it a go.
I like the rest of the Senses range - they do liquid soaps, shower gels, all that kind of thing, and I really liked the flavours they do, especially Lagoon which is like a sort of watermelon fragrance, that whenever I use it makes me feel really cleansed and refreshed.
The fragrance is nice and light and not too sweet or sickly. It is perfect for me, as this is what I would want my deodorant to smell like.
This is packaged in blue plastic wrapping that has a picture of water on it, which makes it look very fresh and lovely.
In the brochure this promises to give the wearer 24 hour protection. Does it do this? Yes, I think it does. Whenever I wear this it stops me getting all sweaty and horrible and it leaves me freshened up all day long. It works really well, smells gorgeous and was only £1 so I would recommend it.
I bought this deodorant when Avon had a sale in their catalogue last year. It normally costs £2 but I managed to get it for 99p. It is currently available on the Avon website for £1.50.
The roll on comes in a clear bottle which is covered in light blue plastic. You have to remove the part of the plastic around the lid before you can start to use the deodorant. The instructions say to do this by just twisting the lid. After trying for a couple of minutes and twisting really hard, I managed to do that but when I have used roll ons from Avon before, I have had to tear the wrapper off. The writing on the wrapper is black and the only directions for use are "do not apply to broken skin."
When you take the lid off the deodorant, the smell is very faint until you start to move the ball around. The deodorant smells really fresh and reminds me of the sea. It is not really a feminine smell and I think it could be used by men and women. I found the product really easy to apply, the roller ball moves easily and doesn't snag your skin. It leaves a good coating of the deodorant which dries quickly. I haven't found that it leaves a white mark which is a bonus. I have used this deodorant in the hot office at work, during rides out on my horse and during quite intensive dressage lessons but I have always been fresh and dry afterwards.
I recommend this deodorant as it is just as good as the more expensive named brands and lasts just as long.
