“ Brand: Revlon / Type: Body Spray / Suitable for: Body „
One of the things I use very often and so buy very often is a body spray. In the summer I like to use them as all over body fragrances as they sometimes contain no alcohol which can smell a bit whiffy in warmer climbs, in these cooler months I use them in conjunction with my usual perfumes and anti-perspirants and so on.
This one I recently bought for just a pound in my local Poundland store, I got it because I had never heard of it before and took a bit of a quick sniff of it in the store and I rather liked it.
This comes in a bright green and pink coloured 75ml aluminium aerosol can which has an integrated plastic push button to the top of it and lid that goes over that very securely but is easy to remove. On the front of the can I'm told it's Charlie, 'Real' Perfumed Body Fragrance, Deodorant Parfume. On the back of the can I'm told a bit about the product, the directions for use are given, some warnings are listed, then everything I've just told you appears to be written in a foreign language as well, contact details for Revlon are given (the manufacturers of Charlie products), the flammable and recycle symbol are shown on there along with the size being stated and finally there is a bar-code. This is a nice looking can this one and easy to use as well.
The Spray Itself:
The spray sprays out clear in colour and rather wet but dries leaving no residue of any kind behind itself at all. It has a fragrance of raspberry, pink peppercorn and coconuts to it really and I can detect all these lovely fragrances within it equally with the berry sort of scent being the middle note, the peppercorns sort of popping the fragrance out somewhat and the coconut, musky tone grounds the scent somewhat. Once sprayed I find that this scent lingers on my skin all day long gently and I of course can top it up whenever I want to.
I really do like this one and think that it is a very unique scent that is really great quality as well. I can't believe I got this one for a mere pound though do be prepared to spend closer to a couple of quid a can if you can find it in supermarkets and chemists and if you can't Google it!
Anyone who has read my other Charlie reviews will know that my lovely hubby always buys me a Charlie for a gift, either birthday or Christmas....this one I cheated with and although he bought me the original for the very first time and I got hooked, I actually found the one I am reviewing now on special offer in Somerfield last Friday (30th January) for only £1 - all their Charlie body sprays are just £1 each right now...hurry, hurry....I am off to spend a fiver on nothing but my special Charlies.....of course, I don't know which ones I will get, but if there is a new one, mind, I will leave that out, because it would be awful if on 3rd March (my 45th birthday) there wasn't that tell-tale cylindrical beautifully wrapped package with my latest Charlie in it!!!
What can I say about New! Charlie REAL....its all in capitals on the bottle...it has a metallic green and very wonderfully Christmassy look to it. The landmark cylindrical spray metal can with a beautiful blushing pink softly spreading splodge on the front and the Charlie logo and a little scintillation of a star on it. Its so alluring...makes you think of verdant green pastures, spreading pink soft lovely marshmallowy yummy things and wonderfully gleaming jewellery...silver not gold. It is made by Revlon who excel in this respect and it is out of this world. The fragrance consists of "exciting...raspberry, pink peppercorn and coconut...." wow....good enough to eat almost...you get the hit of raspberry and the gorgeously spicy woosh of peppercorn with the undertone of mellow coconut guaranteed to make you feel sexy, mellow and excited all at the same time...enough....hold me back, peeps!!
'Nuff said...go out and buy it at once, and get going to superstardom!!
