I adore Dove products and I buy a lot of things in general from the Dove range. Like everyone else, I like to use an effective deodorant, especially now the weather in warming up, I want to stay at my freshest all day long. I paid one pound sixty nine pence for this Dove deodorant cream from Teso's a few months back and I am still using the same stick now, despite my using this twice daily, every day. Unlike most other Dove products, I can't really detect any fragrance to speak of. It is extremely effective at keeping me dry and fresh all day long. It is kind to my skin and isn't harsh at all as it contains over one quarter moisturising properties. I can even use it immediately after shaving and it doesn't make me itch or scratch. The other thing I really love about this product is that it doesn't take ages to dry on my skin. It isn't a roller ball deodorant, more of a dry stick , so there is no having to wait around for ages flapping my arms in the air waiting for it to dry, and it means I can get dressed immediately after application. As it has no real fragrance to speak of, this also means that I am able to wear any perfume I like without worrying about clashes of smells. I use this product daily and like all Dove products I have used, this is one I can really recommend. It's very effective at eliminating odours and keeping me dry all day long and it is very well priced and widely available. Another top quality product Dove - highly recommended.
Dove deodrant is well known for being long lasting, eliminating odours and maintaining freshness throughout the day.
My pet hate of deodrants is them staining your clothes, no matter how careful you are. But I can safely say with Dove, you do not have this problem.
This deodrant not only does its required job, but is very kind to skin and conditions the area. many deodrants I have used in the past have left my skin either very dry and iritated or even caused rashes and spots. This is almost like a baby product, it is so soft and silky. It can even be used immediately after shaving, without the 'HOME ALONE' effect.
I am probably admitting a little too much here, but I even use this on my feet - it is 100% effective.
There is no smell, so you can use your perfume without it being overpowered by the sometimes clinical smell of deodrant.
The container is very handy for carrying with you in your handbag, not that you need to top up during the day, as this really does last for hours and is perfectly ergonomical for use.
This lasts me at least 2 if not three months of daily use.
The downside of the product is that the last bit is so hard to get out, there is always some waste.
I really wouldnt trust anything as much as I do this.
i have used dove cream antiperspirant for at least 10 years now, i always used normal spay ons when i was younger however i still seemed to get the wet pit look! even though it didnt smell like body odour it was still not very nice. i also didnt really like having the smell of a deoderant following me about as they have a distinctive smell. when i first used dove cream firstly i was over the moon how soft and smooth it made me feel, i also immediately noticed that although it has a very faint lovely smell i had managed to get away from the "deoderant smell" leaving me free to add my perfume without confusing smells. the next thing i noticed was that it appears to stop sweat completely. i dont know how it does it but i never ever have wet patches no matter how hard i have worked. It is also safe to use in schools, theatres etc without the fear of setting off smoke alarms etc. it also lasts for ages, we went on holiday to the caravan and i know its not nice but we couldnt wash for 4 days uurgghh!! but it lasted all that time!! until i washed again x x i just wish they would reduce the price slightly x x
I have been on the look out for years for the perfect deodorant, one that stops the smell of sweat, slows down the sweating process and of course it has to smell nice but not sting, a tall order but one I was sure was out there!
After exhausting the search within the sprays available and only really ticking one of the afore mentioned boxes with anyone of them, I decided to maybe try the creams and roll on's instead.
I initially tried a roll on, and my dislike of the sticky feeling hasn't dissipated over the years (I had roll on's when I was in my early teens, my mum had an obsession with me not spraying my clothes with smellies, as she said it rots the fibre's), so after picking up this cream stick on offer I have been completely converted!
The cream stick in question is a Dove original anti perspirant, and being a fan of the Dove products, with there so -called skin caring properties and delicate fragrances I was more than willing to give it a try.
The tube the product comes in is a stand up hand ergonomically shaped container, with a blue slip on lid and a whole bottom section that twists to bring more of the cream stick out to use, this again helps for people with these use of their hands, as it is far easier to use than the small dial ones I have seen.
The product states that is has 24 hour protection and contains a ¼ moisturising cream and 0% alcohol, alongside the deodorising qualities the cream aspect is perfect, I shave quite regularly, but this leaves my under arms at times quite sore and a bit too sensitive to be using sprays.
The smell of the cream is really fresh and creamy, and is a simple solid white block to look at, but after rubbing my finger over the top melts into a an invisibly creamy layer instantly.
To use you simply rub gently over the underarm, until the desired area is covered.
The first thing I noticed was just how delicate feeling it was, with my underarm having no stinging sensation at all, the first time in ages, with the second being the lovely smell that comes from it.
I did notice a couple of deodorant lines on my top after getting dressed, but this was soon remedied by wiping it gently with a damp cloth, I have yet to find one that doesn't leave a few marks on tight tops, even the so-called crystal ones!
I normally have to have a few top ups of the sprays during the day at work, I tend to be running round like a lunatic and get quite sweaty at times, but this cream has stopped all of that!
I stayed sweat free, with the subtle smell staying subtle but keeping any other smells at bay, negating the need for adding to it at anytime, though I did had a quick burst of my favourite body spray, but that is more habit than anything else!
My underarms feel much softer since using this cream and I have much more confidence with my sweating, which I am afraid I have inherited from my Dad's side of the family, who only have to move to start glowing profusely!
The cream is currently on offer in Asda, for £1.50 a stick (normal price around the £2.00 mark), and has so far lasted me nearly three weeks, with twice daily use.
This is quite possibly the best product I have ever used, and I will now not use anything else, recommended!

This is one of many products I have made by Dove. The packaging is a white thin plastic stick which gets fatter at the top and is navy blue in colour. There is blue and gold writing on the front. The price is £1.98 for 50 ml.
Unlike other anti perspirant deodorants this is a white cream that you apply to dry underarms to combat body odour. Dove is made from 1/4 moisturing cream so it leaves your underarms very soft. It is a cream which you kind of spread on into your armspits so it isnt a roll on as such.
It has a very nice smell to it and as i am very concsious of body odour this worked very well. Another bonus is that it doesnt sting when you apply it after shaving unlike other roll ons.
It has long lasting freshness so you dont have to keep re applying it throughout the day. It absorbs easily and doesnt leave you with white marks on your clothes. I feel very confident using this product and wouldnt even look at other products anymore.
it is great value for money as it last quite a long time. I would highly recommend it!
Having tried many deodorant products in my time, and not being satisfied with the product, it was time to look again for another one. I am very anxious when it comes to body odour as I guess most people are. So when shopping at my local asda store I decided to take a trip down the deodorant isle, even though I had many at home which I have used but doesn't work. I came across the dove range and was a little weary whether to try their product again, as I have tried there aerosol deodorant and wasn't best pleased with it. I decided to stick with it and try it again but buying the roll on instead.
About Dove Cream anti-perspirant
Dove Cream anti-perspirant is a roll on based deodorant. Although it is a roll on, it is not a firm ball or stick form roll on, what do I mean? Well usually with a roll on you normally have a ball or stick that you roll under your arms, with dove cream you don't have either of those, it is in fact a cream based roll on.
To be honest with it not saying on the tube I didn't know it was a cream until I got home to use it. I have never used a deodorant that was a cream and to be honest I have a good feeling about this one and hoping that it proves to be different from the rest of the products I have used.
Dove cream is made from ¼ moisturising cream which means it is sensitive to your skin, adds moisture when you need it most, and protects your skin from shaving. I have noticed since using this product that it doesn't sting once you have shaved, it doesn't leave me feeling sticky once applying it. I have also noticed that it doesn't leave any white marks on my clothes. Using this product makes me feel confident, fresh and clean through out the day once applying it, it as a long lasting freshness which means you don't need to keep re-applying through the day.
The white moisturising cream is applied by turning the base of the tube (making sure the lid is off of course) until the cream comes out the oval top, then apply as you would using a roll on, it is that easy.
Compared to the other products that I have used myself this is one of the best, why? It doesn't leave you feeling sticky, it moisturisers your skin when applying it, keeps you feeling and smelling fresh and clean through out the day with out re-applying, no white marks, absorbs easily and effectively, and doesn't sting when applying it to your under arms once been shaved.
The dove tube is no different to other dove products so really isn't that hard to notice it in shops. White tube, blue top, gold dove on the front. The front of the tube as the description of the product, the back as the information, warnings, ingredients, where to apply, helpful addresses and numbers to contact if need be. Always read the label before trying products.
Availability & Price
I bought this product from Asda at priced £1.79 for a 50ml tube.
I am sure you will be able to find it in most supermarkets or boots.
I am glad that I chose this product, as I know it works well, and can be confident all day long without having to take it out with me for re-applying. Knowing that I can use this on shaven skin also helps me feel better, I used to dread applying other ones to my under arms as it used to sting or leave me sticky. I recommend this deodorant to others as I know it's the best I have used so far and is a brand you can trust.
Thank you for reading
I hope I have covered everything.
DOVE ANTI-PERSPIRANT DEODORANT (A-PD) CREAM
Unlike other A-PDs on the market this is a cream which you apply to dry under arms to combat the problem of body odour or wetness. Speaking as someone who sweats a lot (and who doesnt?) I need something which is going to make me feel confident from the minute I have my shower in the morning until I have my bath again in the evening.
I have tried over the years many different types of deodorants, from aerosol sprays to sticky roll ons, and even the solid stick types which come a close second best to this cream.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
This is the genius of it, it contains ¼ moisturising lotion which nourishes and protects the sensitive underarm skin, can be applied without irritation even after shaving!
The gentle lotion is very soothing if you do happen to nick yourself shaving and doesnt sting in the slightest! It is in no way sticky either, which can sometimes occur in a roll on.
It dries fairly quickly, I usually apply it after Ive dried myself coming out of the shower, I like to leave it about a minute or 2 at the most to make sure it is completely dry before putting my clothes on, I have never had white marks on my clothes using this, and whether thats down to me leaving it to dry Im not sure. With most deodorants Ive used in the past Ive usually had some sort of white mark left so this is a definite bonus for me!
DOES IT WORK?
For me yes it does, I do sweat a lot (as Ive mentioned before) I think its genetic because my sister and mum both have same problem, maybe something to do with sweat glands or something, who knows ..but the result is wet patches under arms on tops and it can be very embarrassing. Havent really suffered from being pongy though thank goodness but the wetness is bad enough! With this cream A-PD I find that I rarely sweat much these days at all, or if I do it doesnt seem to permeate the barrier of the cream, and I only seem to sweat profusely now if Ive been exercising or running about mad ..I keep a bottle of this in my bag just in case but rarely have to top up!
To use this cream is simplicity itself, simply lift the cap off (easy to do even with wet hands) the first time you use it you will need to lift a little paper tab from the top covering the hole that the cream oozes out of. Then you need to twist the bottom of the bottle anti clockwise. Again first time you use it you will need to turn it quite a bit to get the amount of cream required. After the first time you only need to turn it a little and I usually only use about 1 cm of the cream for each underarm. One bottle of this normally lasts me about 3-4 weeks if using twice a day, if there are days when I find I need it a bit more (if going out for night out or exercising etc) then it will be nearer the 3 wks than 4.
This smells really fresh too, much like all of the Dove range of body lotions and creams available. Just a clean soapy smell, with no real hint of any particular perfume I can sense.
It comes in a 50ml bottle too which sits nicely in my bathroom cabinet.
I paid around £1.50 for my bottle from my local chemist shop, which is really reasonable, but you can get it for £1.98 from Tesco/Asda and also look out for special offers in Boots too from time to time.
Other items in the Dove range include shampoos, conditioners, body lotions, shower creams, as well as deodorant sprays, sticks and roll ons.
The deodorant range all come in 4 fragrances as far as I know. Original (the one I use)
Silk, Fresh Touch and Sensitive. I cant speak for Silk or sensitive yet as I havent tried them but the Fresh Touch one is equally good and smells quite nice too.

I hope it has been of some use to you!
I'm a young woman and I started shaving when I was a teenager. For years I suffered with ingrowing hairs and itching and redness under my arms,I could only shave once a week which in the end restricted where I went and what I was able to wear.I tryed every deodorant possible sprays, roll on's and creams but nothing seemed to work. Then I heared about dove deodorant cream and decided to try yet another deodorant that claims to help soften skin.By this time I had become very down and douted that any product did what it said it did.
I went to the local supermarket and got the deodorant for £3.49 which I thorght was ok.The next day I tryed it and was really happy with the smell it was not over powering at all and it kept me dry all day.The only thing I found was that you do need to let it settle before you get dressed or it does go onto your clothes. The great thing also is you only need the smallest amount so it lasts for ages. It's very easy to use and small so carring it with you is no problem
About two weeks after using it everyday I was on top of the world my armpits were so smooth and soft I could not help but show them off.All my problems were gone.I could shave all the time and wear what I wanted when I wanted. So try this product trust me it will rock your world.
Ever since the sudden and mysterious disappearance of Secret anti-perspirant deodorant a few months back, I've been searching for a new brand to refresh my pits and keep me fragrant and dry. I think I've tried just about every cream deodorant on the market and have come across some good, some indifferent, and some frankly appalling examples. First, the difference between a deodorant and an anti-perspirant: Deodorant literally means just perfume. A pure deodorant does not stop you sweating, but merely perfumes your underarms and, in theory, any smell that emits therefrom. An anti-perspirant contains a special chemical to block your pores and thus stop sweating. An anti-perspirant deodorant does both, and is therefore the best and most popular option for combatting underarm niffs. The Dove Range ++++++++++++++ Dove is produced by Unilever, a big name behind many of our most popular household, laundry and beauty products. Dove do 4 different types of anti-perspirant deodorant: regular roll-on, stick, cream and spray. They come in 2 fragrances: original and 'fresh blue'. I opted for the cream at £2.99 for 50 ml from Boots. Why Cream? ++++++++++ I like cream deodorants as they are very smooth in texture and so glide easily over the skin. Also, if you keep gently rubbing, they soon disappear into the skin, meaning you don't have to walk around your bedroom with your arms in the air waiting for your armpits to dry. Sticks have the same advantage, but in all the bumpf I've read in women's magazines, they come out of tests as not so effective at doing their job. Why Dove? +++++++++ As earlier mentioned, I was on a mission to try every sort of anti-perspirant deodorant cream I could get my mitts on, in the hope of finding something out there to match up to the effectiveness of my beloved Secret. Incidentally, if anyone know
s the story behind the suspicious vanishing act Secret performed, I'd be very interested to hear it. I started my search with Dove because: 1. I adore the smell of Dove. 2. I use other Dove products and (apart from the hair care) find them excellent. I nearly didn't start my search with Dove because: 1. Dove products all contain one quarter moisturising cream. I don't know if this is a good thing in a deodorant or not - after all, moisture is wet, isn't it, and that's what you use a deodorant to avoid - but in the end I thought what the hell and gave it a go. Dove Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Cream ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Dove cream comes in a white tube with blue lettering and the familiar Dove logo. The tube has a twisty bit at the bottom. when you turn it, a measured amount of cream is released at the other end, which is bulbous. It is easy to hold, and a quick twist of the bottom releases the cream at the top. You then roll the bulbous bit around under your armpit and work the cream in. It is simple to do, doesn't drag the skin, and the cream soon vanishes. You are then left with slightly sticky but very sweet-smelling armpits. Smells are hard to describe, but to me the smell of original Dove is flowery, talcy, very fresh and feminine. (Fresh blue is more marine-like) After a couple of minutes the stickiness goes away and your armpits feel dry. You are now ready to dress. I have found that Dove really does both stop me sweating and keep me smelling fresh and clean. Full marks there. However, and this is a big however, although the Dove cream looks and feels as though it has disappeared into your skin, it actually has not. Where it has gone is all over your clothes. Getting home from work on the first day of using Dove cream, I was appalled when I took off my cardi to find that my sleeveless t-shirt and
my bra (both black) were covered in pure white streaks and smears. And I'm not just talking about the odd spot either. Thank god I'd had the cardi on. If I'd been going out at night in my fave sleeveless black dress I would have looked a right sight. I immediately threw my clothes in the washing machine and gave them a good going-over at forty degrees, only to find that there were still residues of that blasted cream left on the armpit areas. I henceforth gave the damn stuff to my sister who used it when wearing a white dress and found that it left yellowy/creamy stains on that. Overall +++++++ Dove smells great, is very easy to apply, prevents sweat and keeps you smelling clean and fresh all day long. If I was scoring out of 5, it would get 5 for all the aforementioned. However, if it's going to ruin your clothes and make you look bloody awful, all the above is quite worthless. And who needs moisturised armpits anyway?
I have found a new kind of Dove deodorant that I didn't even know existed. My sister bought me some Dove Moisturising Antiperspirant Deodorant Cream as part of my birthday present. We do like practical presents in our family! At first I just thought that it was the roll on type in a new style container but no it is quite different. This one is in a mushroom shaped container with a small hole in the top. To get at the contents you have to twist the bottom of the container and the cream deodorant emerges through the aforementioned hole. I found that I only had to twist up a small amount to do the job of deodorising under my arm so it should last me a fair while, which is just as well as I have just found our that this 50ml container cost £2.39! It has the lovely fragrance that we have all come to associate with Dove and, as ever, it is one-quarter moisturising cream too. And like all the other Dove deodorants - it works! The anti perspirant and deodorising qualities of the product are strong enough last all day. The big selling point for me as far as the Dove range of deodorants are concerned is the fact that none of them sting after shaving. It does actually say on the container 'do not apply to irritated skin' but I have found that it is the only deodorant that I can use after shaving, which doesn?t sting like hell! Since it is in a small container it would be ideal to take on holiday and being a cream as opposed to an aerosol it would be safe enough to take on an aeroplane without fear of causing an explosion. Following on from this it also means that it has no CFC gases to harm the environment either. You just can't loose with Dove can you? I?m certainly continuing to enjoy my birthday presents this year, that's about the fourth opinion I have written about something that I received!
I've been using Dove deodorant moisturising cream for about a year now, maybe longer. I first tried the spray version of Dove after I received a free sample. I found the spray to be very effective but the smell caught my nose and made me sneeze really badly. Not very good first thing in the morning! I tried the moisturising cream version of Dove and it's been my main deodorant ever since. (It's an anti-perspirant deodorant in a stick form.) Occasionally I'll try another deodorant but I always come back to Dove. The smell is very pleasant and because it's made of cream the perfume doesn't catch your nose. I find that I can be sensitive to deodorant, sometimes I get red rashes and stinging after shaving my armpits but this has never happened with Dove. The moisturising cream makes up one quarter of the product and I find that it is nice and soothing on the skin especially after shaving. In summer I can sweat quite a lot, and though it's not always smelly, I find myself with very wet armpits. Dove stops any smell coming through and though it doesn't stop the wetness completely it is much more effective than other deodorants. I feel that other deodorants almost block my skin, and though this contains aluminium (which many people do not like in deodorant)I don't feel tightness or discomfort from it. If you use far too much Dove, then you end up with lots of white marks on your clothes - especially if you've got black on! I find that if you put just a little on and leave it for a couple of minutes, then put your clothes on there shouldn't be too many marks. If you do have any marks a damp towel with take any off very effectively. Dove lasts all day long but if you need to, it is small enough to put in a bag and put on late in the day where ever you are. Because you don't need to use much of the deodorant, Dove lasts usually two to three months. I find that it is reasonably p
riced, often cheaper in discount stores such as Semi-Chem or Body Care. (It's been a few months since I've needed to buy any and I can't remember how much it costs!!!!) Recently I've tried out some other anti-perspirants which I found to be sub-standard compared to Dove. It remains my fave anti-perspirant by far!!
I have been using Dove Roll On for about five months now. I especially like the Fresh blue one, as soon as I take the blue lid off, it makes me think of Sun Lotion. Sun Lotion reminds me of holidays, so in a way Dove cheers me up. It's a very creamy texture, and not just keeps me smelling fresh but is a great moisturiser also. Sometimes after shaving my armpits, deodorants can sting, but dove hasn't done that to me, well not yet anyway. I think it would have done so by now, if this was going to happen. The 50ml bottle lasts me ages, I use it twice a day, and I still can smell the perfume of it at the end of the day. Some of the other roll-on's that I have used in the past, leave white marks on my clothes especially black t-shirts. This has caused me problems especially when I've been going out and put on something black. Straightaway there's been the offensive white mark, near the armpits. Well Dove hasn't yet done that either, even though the liquid is white, it dries quickly and doesn't leave a residue. I would recommend it to people with sensitive skin, I have that and it doesn't irritate my skin. When using for the first time after shaving, I would wait an hour or so, just in case your skin reacts, there's nothing more unpleasant than a sore armpit. It cost me £1.49 and is well worth it.
