~*~*~*~* Dove Invisibly Dry ~*~*~*~
When it comes to deodorants I am not loyal to one particular brand, I normally choose which ever one is on offer. I do prefer the roll on deodorants, over the spray/aerosol deodorants, as I find them to work better, last longer, and not leave white patches on my clothes.
I was given this deodorant for Christmas as part of my stocking present (your never too old for a stocking) but you can purchase this for £2.35 from Boots (you can also pick this up from most supermarkets and chemists, and it is regularly on offer for 99p). It is a roll on deodorant which comes in a 50ml, plastic, white, cone-shaped tube. The lid is a screw top and is flat on the bottom, as this is where it sits on the surface so it doesn't topple over. I prefer that the product is kept upside down as this prevents the roll-ball applicator from drying out.
It claims to last for up to 48 hours, unfortunately (even for the purpose of this review) I haven't worn it for that long (i'm sure I wouldn't be very popular at work). I usually put this on after a bath/shower and wear it all day until I have my evening shower and then re-apply after. This deodorant keeps me dry and lasts all day. There is a fragrance to this deodorant which is floral, however it is not overpowering. If I do ever feel the need to smell my underarms (as you do) I get a pleasant, subtle waft of flowers. I would say this is aimed at women, but as the smell is very light my partner does use this deodorant as well. I try and keep fit (not as often as I should) and when I wear this deodorant it really does it's job well.
It also claims to leave clothes without white marks, which I agree with. I have never found this deodorant to transfer on to my clothes, even when I am wearing my little black dress. And it also does not contain any alcohol.
I usually swipe this across my under arms twice to get the right amount of liquid. I have been using this deodorant for a couple of weeks now and there is still loads left.
I have to be careful about what I use on my skin as I have psoriasis and this deodorant has never irritated my skin, even after I apply it straight after shaving.
Overall I think this deodorant is very good at keep my under arms dry and smelling fresh, even when I am a bit hot under the collar. I never need to worry about white marks on my clothes and it has lasted me a long time. I would recommend this deodorant, especially when it is at 99p. I give this deodorant 5 out of 5 Dooyoo stars.
Thanks for taking the time to read my review :)
This Dove Invisible dry roll on deodorant does a great job. I always use Dove, and always a roll on, but since discovering this particular product I have stuck with it. It dries quick which not all roll ons do and it definitely provides long lasting dryness (although I cannot see why anyone would need it to last 48hrs!) Being honest I am not an overly sweaty person and I don't really exercise but none the less I have found with other deodorants that I can feel a little sticky by the end of the day. Not with this Dove deodorant though. Lets face it anyone will get sweaty after a work out no matter what deodorant they use! I have never felt sweaty with it. I never get white marks on my clothes so no embarrassing moments, and it keeps my underarm skin soft and smooth. Would definitely recommend for everyday use!
This product is Dove Invisible Dry Anti White Marks Anti-Perspitant Deodorant - what a mouthful! I call it Dove-Anti for short. And unlike a lot of things out there, it actually does what it says on the tin, which is a huge plus in my book. This deodorant boasts 24 hour care plus ¼ moisturizing cream, which we have come to expect from Dove. The blurb from this product tells us to "Say goodbye to annoying white marks, even on your little black dress [with] New micro fine anti-perspirant formulation for better white mark protection". Its for those times when you want to avoid the unsightly white lines that show up on your black top once you have pulled it down over your head. Have you ever gone out with deodorant marks? And the trouble is that if you don't notice them straight away they tend to cling to the fabric, and nothing short of a good soak will get rid of these stains. This deodorant says it will eliminate the need for us to do this as it wont leave any white marks in the first place.
Dove Invisible Dry Anti White Marks Anti-Perspitant Deodorant is un-perfumed. Is it up to you to decide of this is a good or a bad thing. If you go for a quick spruce up and you don't have perfume on you then this is not ideal as you want to smell as fresh and you feel. If, however, you like to smell of your signature perfume then this is ideal, you will feel fresh without the scent clashing with you. For me im not really that fussed, I always carry a little bottle of perfume and id much rather avoid nasty sweat stains and forego the scent.
First things first, look after our planet and follow the direction of Dove: please recycle when empty J
Its pretty light weight and very handily comes in a handy travel size as well as a 150ml gym bag size and a long-term use bathroom size of 250ml. Its as simply as the produce, clean and soft white lines and a delicate grey/solver lid and writing.
Does it work?
It works in as far as it never leaves ugly white marks. It is quite incredible really as you can spray a generous application on to your under arm and then pull on a black top - taking no time or trouble to avoid brushing the fabric against your new application - and you really are left with a perfect black top. This deodorant does not come off on fabric, it doesn't leave white marks and it does not stain. Brilliant! In as far as 24 care, that's an optimistic promise. You certainly find it very hard to feel fresh for a whole day, at some point (if you are ever up for 24 hours straight) then you are going to need and want to freshen up! With regards to the moisturizing aspect, sure, I have never gotten dry or irritated skin from using this, even when I apply directly after a shave.
Actually this varies depending you get it at Boots or Superdrug or a pharmacy et, but not by very much. Generally between £1.50 and £2.25. It will not break the bank and is very often on a 2 for 1 offer, so stock up ladies!

Dove Invisible Dry. Anti-White Marks Roll On Deodorant.
Dove Invisible Dry. Anti-White Marks is a roll on deodorant for women which is manufactured by the Unilever brand. The deodorant claims to be a fast drying anti-perspirant which provides 48 hours of protection between applications.
I first bought this deodorant on a trip home to visit my family back in August last year from Tesco, I bought it as an alternative to my usual Sure deodorant as Tesco was out of stock at the time of my visit. I chose it for a couple of reasons, the first being because of its claims to be long lasting and secondly because it claims to be anti-white marks and as I wear a lot of darker coloured t-shirts and tops this would be a very handy thing if it turned out to be true.
*Quick note for those of you wondering why I buy my deodorants when I return home to the UK to visit my family, two reasons, firstly it is cheaper by a long shot and secondly I cannot understand the labels on the packaging here so I am unsure which ones I should buy!
How To Use
Dove Invisible Dry Deodorant is really easy to use, it comes in a white tube style bottle with a screw cap which doubles as a base for the deodorant to stand on. I like this feature as it means the liquid inside the bottle is always in contact with the roller ball so it only really dries out when you are running low on the deodorant. The label on the front contains the usual Dove logo with the little bird and claims about the lastability and freshness of this deodorant. On the back there is another label which contains a list of ingredients as well as the contact information for Unilever.
To use the deodorant you need to unscrew the cap which is at the base of the deodorant, you will then see a white roller ball, the first time you use the deodorant you will need to give it a quick roll with your finger first as the ball will be dry and then you are ready to roll and be fresh and free from white marks! So, is it true?
Dove Invisible Dry Deodorant has a nice fresh and cotton like clean smell to it. The scent isn't too strong to be overpowering, but you can smell it clearly after application. I would feel confident to wear this deodorant alone without the added use of perfumes as it smells nice and fresh but I can't resist having a quick spray of the perfumes when I get dressed so it is very rare that I do wear this alone.
I find that usually rolling the deodorant the length of my armpit back and forth twice in each direction is enough to give an even coating and not make the coating so thick that it would take ages to dry. The deodorant does dry nice and fast. I would say that in around 15 to 20 seconds I am able to put my clothes on with no worries about getting them wet or marked.
Talking about not getting the clothes marked brings me onto the claim of "Anti-White Marks". So, just how true is this claim? Well, I am pleased to say that it is very true and as I mentioned earlier I do wear a lot of dark and coloured tops so this was obviously an important factor for me. I find that as long as I let the deodorant dry properly before I put my clothes on there is no issue at all with white marks. I think there have been only a couple of occasions where I have been in a rush and not waited those extra few seconds and in these cases I've ended up with a few tiny marks halfway down my top where it has brushed past my armpit, but this was my fault more than the deodorants fault.
I'm not too sure how accurate the claim of providing 48 hour protection is as I have never tried to go 48 hours without having a shower in the morning and re-applying the deodorant and sorry, but I don't really fancy doing this experiment! For me, this deodorant provides ample protection each day and I am more than pleased with its performance.
As I mentioned earlier, I first bought this deodorant in August last year, it was just before I was due to go to Spain for nearly 3 weeks and during this 3 week holiday this was the deodorant I was using. The heat in Madrid reached a scorching 44 degrees for the 4 days we were there and while I undoubtedly turned into a hot and sweaty melting mess I was very relieved to realise that while I was grossly sweaty I didn't actually smell, or at least to my nose I didn't smell and my partner never complained either! Obviously I was showering everyday and sometimes twice a day in this heat but I still felt protected during the time I wasn't under the cool shower desperately trying to cool down!
For a 50ml bottle of Dove Invisible Dry I paid £1.70 from Tesco. I think this is a reasonable price for a deodorant that does exactly what it claims to do. I have just done a quick check on the Tesco website and this deodorant does appear to have has a 50p price increase to £2.20 since I made my purchase. So a little higher than I paid but still cheaper than if I had purchased it here in Krakow. The bonus of the 50ml bottle size is that you can take it travelling with you in hand luggage as it is within the size limits for taking through customs in those little clear plastic bags which they make you use for liquids.
Would I Recommend?
Yes, I would recommend Dove Invisible Dry deodorant. I feel fresh and clean when I wear it and I've had no major casualties with my clothes. It comes at a decent price and overall I cannot fault it for its protection or even its scent so it has to be 5 out of 5 stars from me.
Thanks for reading :)
I always use roll on deodorants but do change what brand I use when I need a new one. I was in my local chemist and saw the Dove invisible anti white marks roll on deodorant for just one pound. I have used other Dove deodorants before and know that they are usually pretty good so I picked it up.
The deodorant bottle is fairly small and slender which saves space if you are taking it away. It is just a white bottle with a fairly simple label on it, this is fine it does the job. The roller ball, unlike a lot of roll on deodorants, is on the bottom of the bottle which makes it really easy to use, meaning no shaking even close to the end of the bottle. The deodorant smelt fresh and light, it wasn't overpowering but you could smell it was there. I wear black tops for work so the anti white marks was quite important and through the whole time of using the deodorant I didn't get one white mark on my top. It took a few minutes to dry once I put it on but this is normal for a roll on deodorant. After using it for a few days I did notice that it had made my underarms soft and smooth so the moisturising side of the deodorant really works well. My job can be quite fast paced and I have to race about quite a lot so staying fresh is important and some deodorants I have had to reapply during the day. It says that it lasts for 24hours which I'm not sure about but I do know that all through out the day my underarms were fresh and dry. This product lasted me around two months, so i really got my moneys worth.
Overall I thought that this deodorant was great and it does everything that it claims to do. Although I like to change my products I would definitely use this one again.
When it comes to deodorants I prefer the spray/aerosol kind. It had been a long time since I had bought a roll on type until I bought this one in my local Poundland store and the reason I bought it was to pack into an already bulging suitcase to bring to my parents over the Christmas period rather than a large can of something to take up much needed space and of course I know it costing just a pound from a well know and reputable brand it was something of a reasonable bargain too!
The packaging of these is really plain and actually rather unisex too in its appearance. The main of the bottle is long and white plastic with the large clear rollerball being situated to the bottom of it with a clear cap that simple twists on and off with ease over that and then on the front of the bottle we are told what it is and who is it by and that it contains 0% alcohol and is formulated to protect underarms from BO for 24hrs and then on the back of the bottle other information listed includes ingredients and the size (50ml) and contact details for the manufacturer are clearly listed.
To use this anti-perspirant deodorant all you do of course is to simply apply to clean and dry underarms. Its moist rather than wet and has a soft moisturising feel as it is being applied with a very light floral fragrance to it which is rather fresh and clean smelling but like I say, very light in its fragrance. It dries quickly and as promised on the bottle leaves no white marks either on the skin or on clothes, I can dress very quickly when I have applied it due it to drying quickly and it leaves my skin feeling able to breath and soft without feeling greasy or overly moisturised.
As well as all that this really does stop any nasty niffs appearing and over 24 hours too! With being really busy and with travelling a long way and then going straight to bed when getting to my parents then the next day sorting stuff out and so on it was a long time till I got to have a shower and although I felt grotty my armpits still felt fresh and clean and above all smelt it!
This is an economical and reliable buy and I really do appreciate this one and think its great and would not hesitate in purchasing it in the future.
Available in all good chemists and supermarkets etc.

I am always trying new deodorants as they hit the shelves in my local supermarket. I have never had a favourite brand or preferred a certain product so I'm always up for something new.
I've always heard good things about Dove, but never really used any of their products other than their shampoo and conditioners, so I thought I'd give this product a try.
At first I was sceptical, deodorants that say 'no white marks' often end up leaving my black tops with little white patches under my arms. But this one really does do what it says it will do! I was impressed when I used it before going on a night out in my little black dress, as I kept checking to make sure I wasn't looking like a fool with white marks everywhere, but from use to removing the dress the deodorant left not a single mark!
It is also a very long lasting deodorant. The packaging states it is a 24 hour deodorant, and I couldn't agree more. I often find myself reapplying many other deodorants throughout the day to stay fresh, but with this I simply used it in the morning before heading out and it lasted all day. Great!
My only problem with this particular deodorant is that I feel it takes too long to dry on my skin. I often feel that I need to wander round with my arms in the air for five minutes to make sure it is dry before getting dressed.
Overall though, an absolutely brilliant deodorant!
As with most people, a deodorant is an essential item in my toiletries bag as it stops bad smells and helps keep me fresh! I'm always looking for new deodorants to try and picked up this Dove deodorant on a shopping trip to Boots as it was on offer at half price.
Dove is a low-to-mid range of bath, shower and moisturising products, more expensive than store brands and budget buys but definitely cheaper than Lush, Soap and Glory and other premium brands. Dove products are marketed as being gentle, suitable for sensitive skin, and moisturising and are distinguished by the Dove logo and simple white packaging which is often combined with blue or other colours.
Dove deodorant is available in both aerosol and roll-on form. The packaging is usually white, but the body of the packaging, or usually the lid, is a different colour depending on the type. Kinds available include the 'Go Fresh' range consisting of Grapefruit, Water Lily and Cucumber, the Minimising range comprising Nature Fresh and Wild Rose, Pro Age, Silk Dry and this deodorant: Invisible Dry.
***Price and Availability***
The deodorant normally costs just over £2 but is often on special offer. It is widely available at Boots, Superdrug, discount stores and supermarkets.
The deodorant is attractively packaged in a practical roll-on with the lid at the bottom - this way you don't have to worry about the roll-on drying out. The packaging is sleek, simple and attractive and it's easy to hold. This Invisible Dry deodorant is white in colour.
It is claimed that the Dove Invisible Dry roll on lasts for 24 hours and leaves no white marks.
I've been using the deodorant for a while now. When I first apply it I can smell a refreshing clean scent, kind of a standard deodorant smell. The scent isn't overpowering but if I stick my nose close to my armpits (which isn't something I do often - just for the purposes of reviewing!) I can still detect it. My underarms, which can sometimes be a bit dry, have felt soft and moisturised and the skin certainly hasn't been irritated, which suggests that the moisturising effect of the product is a good one. My underarms do feel silky-soft!
The deodorant certainly lives up to its claim of leaving no white marks. I've never seen any, and I wear a lot of black. However I've found this with several other Dove deodorants, particularly roll-ons.
The deodorant sometimes takes a couple of minutes to dry, but this is something that is common to all roll-ons and it doesn't particularly bother me as I usually apply makeup before getting dressed anyway.
The deodorant performs effectively in most situations and I am kept feeling fresh all day when I go to work or come home. Sometimes if I've been out shopping during my lunch hour I get a bit hot and my underarms feel slightly damp, but I've never noticed any smell. I usually reapply again if I'm going to the gym, but not if I'm just staying at home, in which case the deodorant lasts all day with no problems.
Using it every day, sometimes more than once, the deodorant lasts me a couple of months which I think is good value.
Overall, I think this is an effective deodorant which lives up to its claim about white marks and is gentle and moisturising. I don't feel that it lasts 24 hours however, and it's not the most effective deodorant I have ever used. Having said that, it does me perfectly well in most situations. I would buy the product again, particularly if it is on special offer, but it's not perfect.
I use all different makes of deodorant/antiperspirant both branded and supermarket/Boots own brand depending on what is on offer at the time. I really like Sure Crystal as it doesn't leave white marks on my clothes but recently I noticed that Dove do a similar product with their Invisible Dry Antiperspirant/deodorant roll on so decided to give it a try as it was on special offer at the time.
**The product and my thoughts**
This product comes in a similar package design to a lot of roll on deodorants at the moment ie all curves and the ability to stand upside down so that the liquid is ready to come out when required. It is all white with the Dove logo and Invisible Dry in pale purple.
When I use it the roll on ball is smooth and the liquid comes out easily with a nice delicate perfume delivering just the right amount to my skin with a couple of rolls. It dries quickly and doesn't sting even if I have just shaved my underarms, the product information tells me that this is because it has 0% alcohol but whatever the reason it is good news. I am always in a hurry in the mornings for work and don't have time to hang around while the deodorant dries so I have definitely tested the "anti white marks" claim and haven't had any problems with this even on black tops. In this regard it certainly lives up to Sure Crystal.
Dove claims to work for 24 hours but I am not sure that it is that effective on me. It definitely works well for quite a few hours but sometimes by late afternoon, especially if I have been rushing around I find it sometimes needs reapplying. In this respect I find Sure Crystal better as it really does seem to last all day so I was a little disappointed with Dove in this respect.
For a 50ml roll on I paid £1 on special offer but it is currently £1.99 in Boots, still not a bad price though.
**Would I Buy Again?**
Possibly, if it was on special offer but the fact that I sometimes need to reapply it does put me off slightly especially with (hopefully) warmer weather approaching and because of this I have knocked one star off an otherwise good product.
We have quite a few Dove products in our house. They were introduced to me by my wife and they are not really a blokey thing, I know. However, when she gets a new stock in, I have been known to steal from her and I have one such stolen item in regular use in my car.
I like it because it does the job and this particular one doesn't mark my expensive work shirts. I have three shirts which have been spoiled in this way by using inferior products so when I saw two roll-ons in her en-suite cupboard, I stole first and only owned up later.
This anti-perspirant deodorant comes in a standard 50ml pack but I only use this one when out and about in the car and of course hardly at all in this weather so it seems to last a long time. By virtue of the 24h printed on the bottle, it is implied that this product will give you round the clock protection, but I have never tested this as I do like to keep clean and wouldn't go 24hrs without washing.
It's more slim line in shape than many other deodorants and this is handy for slipping down the storage bin in the driver's door.
The top is the bottom on this as on many other deodorants which of course means that you don't get dried up balls - perish the thought! Unscrewing the base/top, you expose a creamy rolling ball which you rub under your armpit until you feel the creamy product going on. Because there is no alcohol in this product, it's a bit wet to start with so it's best to wait a couple of minutes if you are using this as part of your morning ablutions routine.
The product claims to be invisible in use and even though I am always careful as to how I apply it, it has yet to disappoint, so for me this is an anti-perspirant deodorant that does what it claims to do. I know this is important for women as well since white marks are an absolute no-no for you gals.
It also isn't sticky and doesn't clog up your underarm hair - a less important benefit for the fairer sex but important to thieving hubbies like me.
I shall continue to steal this from my wife when she re-stocks. I have no shame.
I am always picking up different kinds of deodorant to try and I don't particularly stay loyal to one brand. I usually pick up something when I see it on offer and so I picked up the Dove invisible dry roll on deodorant for just a pound in Boots. This was a while ago and I have since checked and you can purchase this deodorant for £1.99.
The deodorant comes in a 50ml white bottle. It features the Dove bird logo and tells us that the anti-perspirant is an anti white mark deodorant and will dry invisible. We are also told that the product contains 0% alcohol and will last for 24 hours.
The bottle had a twist on and off lid which clicks when it is properly secured which is a nice feature as you know the lid won't be falling off in your bag. The product also stands on its lid and I really like this as it means the product is always running down to the roller ball and so there is less time waiting for the product to reach the roller ball.
When you remove the lid you are exposed to the roller ball which you rub on to your underarm to apply the product. I would advise that before use you just move the roller ball slightly with your finger so that it is free moving otherwise it can be quite uncomfortable when it doesn't move on your skin as it is too dry!
The deodorant has a nice fresh scent to it which is very pleasant. When you roll the ball on your underarm you can smell a fresh smell immediately which is a good sign in my opinion. Initially when rolling it on your underarm you do notice little white specks but these do actually dry off. The deodorant is quite wet when you first apply it and take a couple of minutes to dry.
In terms of the claim that the deodorant lasts 24 hours I don't think that it really lives up to that. Whilst I feel fresh for most of the day on a standard day I would say that on a particularly warm day I would feel the need to apply this a few times-but I would do the same with most deodorants.
I would award this deodorant 3 stars as I feel it is pleasant enough but it is very similar to many of the other deodorants on the market and doesn't do anything over and beyond what they do.
Thank you for reading my review.
This is this first deodorant I have bought for a while and have been pleasantly surprised with.
Dove invisible dry claims to leave no white marks, whilst giving 24 hours protection.
It comes in a simple white bottle with a silver cap. It has purple 'Dove' writing.
I got this on offer I think for £1 or £1.50 from Boots. But I would buy it again at a higher price.
How it works:
It's easy to apply though letting it dry first before dressing helps with the white marks.
I used Sure crystal before this which also claims to leave no white marks but compared to this one it dried out my under arms.
The thing that surprised me the most about this product is the moisture it gave my underarms and has really improved the skin and appears of my underarms it's very nice. Protection is good too and it does last all day.
The white mark claim:
Ok down to the reason I originally bought it. It does still leave a few white marks if you are not careful, but I haven't found a deodorant that can complete live up to this claim anyway.
And if it does leave marks they are very light and easy enough to get rid of. I've found if I can wait until I'm dressed to put it on I will.
*No horrible smell
*Moisturises your underarms, and doesn't sting after shaving
*Easy to carry around bottle
*Less white marks
*Doesn't complete eliminate white marks
I'm so glad I went back to dove as I now have beautiful under arms!
This is a review of Dove Invisible Dry anti white marks anti-perspirant deodrant.
I have to say, I am not a big fan of the spray on deodrant as it makes me choke. I hate tasting it and feel like it sticks to the inside of your throat so I always use a roll on.
Another pet hate is that a lot of my clothes are black and it does not react well to deodrant so when I saw this brand and its claims I was intrigued.
Deodrant is part of my daily routine (as I'm sure it is for most people) and is as automatic as cleaning my teeth. I never forget to do it ever!
This anti-perspirant is great. A little bit wet on application but most roll ons are and at least you know you've got some on. I usually wait for it to dry before flinging my clothes on which I thing goes towards combating the white marks.
The smell is fairly neutral, a 'clean' smell to me and not at all strong.
I find it lasts all day although I would reapply some if getting changed and going out.
As for the white marks, I think as long as you give it time to dry, it's true. I have not noticed it leaving any white marks on my clothes.
I bought this from Superdrug - I usually stock up when there's an offer on and get a bit of discount. I think it cost approx £1.50 to buy.
Would I buy again? Definitely!
Thanks for reading.
As I have said many times that when it comes to deodorant it has to be Dove for me. Not only does it work well but it is also ideal for using straight after shaving with no stinging. I do occasionally try others but I always come back to Dove. Every time there is a special offer I tend to buy a couple of Dove deodorants and pop them in the bathroom cupboard.
I always go for the roll on version, which I find really easy to use and the Dove ones always dry almost instantly, which is a big plus for any roll on deodorant. With some of the other brands I have ended up walking round the bedroom flapping my arms up and down like some demented chicken trying to dry my armpits before I could get dressed.
Looking in the roll on section of the Dove range there is still a choice to be made - there's Dove Original, Dove Sensitive, Dove Pro Age, Dove Hair Minimising and Dove Fresh Touch - and now I have found Dove Invisible Dry Anti White Marks.
The current price in Tesco's is £1.63 for a 50ml container although when I bought mine the offer was 'buy any 2 for £2.50'. It is all plastic so it is recycleable, which, as you know, is a good point as far as I am concerned.
What did it look like?
The style of the container of most of the Dove roll on deodorants has undergone a bit of a revolution in recent times. They have got rid of the strange curved shaped container and brought in a bullet shaped one which now stands the other way up so that the roller ball is at the base of the container rather than at the top. It's about time as far as I am concerned! Now I don't have to balance the deodorant container upside down in the cupboard to try and get the last bit out - well done Dove! Every little helps in the current economic climate after all.
This one is white with a grey screw cap and the familiar Dove logo on the front in blue. The full name of the product is obviously on the container and is 'Invisible Dry Anti White Marks'. The label on the front tells us that it is 'anti perspirant and deodorant' and it contains one quarter moisturising cream and will keep you dry for 24 hours.
How do you use it?
Well the directions for use aren't really going to be rocket science are they? Having unscrewed the cap you find a nice big, white ball, if you'll pardon the expression, which makes actually applying the deodorant to your underarms nice and easy. Now that the container design has been improved and the deodorant stands with the roller ball at the base it always runs freely and I have never had any problem with it drying out.
As with all Dove products this deodorant is one quarter moisturising cream and it smells lovely. It is a delicate flowery sort of smell although I can't think which flower it reminds me of! It is a really fresh, clean fragrance and I really do like this one.
The deodorising and antiperspirant effect lasts all day even in hot weather, and when I am out in the garden sawing and chopping wood for our log burner! Although I won't be doing that for a while as I managed to drop a large piece of wood on my toe last weekend and I broke it - the toe not the wood unfortunately! Now I have to rest it as much as possible for a couple of weeks.
As I have mentioned before when reviewing Dove deodorants in the new style containers the one small problem that I found was that, after I had used the deodorant, and replaced the cap I usually found that there was a small amount of the deodorant around the seal where the cap met the main container. A quick wipe soon solved this small problem.
Does the 'anti white marks' promise deliver?
Well this one is a bit difficult for me to comment on. I rarely have any problems with white marks anyway but I have worn my black tee shirts with this deodorant and there were no marks on them at all.
As usual I am very impressed with this deodorant - it works well, it isn't expensive and it smells lovely. So when there is a special offer on Dove I shall happily buy this one again.
Since it is a roll on, it is in a small container making it ideal to take on holiday, and as it contains no propellant it can be taken on an aeroplane with no fear of explosions.
The other advantage of using a roll on deodorant is that it is kind to the environment, as it does not contain any CFC gases.
I will still give this 5 stars even though there is sometimes a bit of a mess round the lid after use, because I do think that the new design is a vast improvement on the old one and the important thing is that the deodorant does work well - as ever with Dove!
