We have quite a few Dove products in our house. They were introduced to me by my wife and they are not really a blokey thing, I know. However, when she gets a new stock in, I have been known to steal from her and I have one such stolen item in regular use in my car.

I like it because it does the job and this particular one doesn't mark my expensive work shirts. I have three shirts which have been spoiled in this way by using inferior products so when I saw two roll-ons in her en-suite cupboard, I stole first and only owned up later.

This anti-perspirant deodorant comes in a standard 50ml pack but I only use this one when out and about in the car and of course hardly at all in this weather so it seems to last a long time. By virtue of the 24h printed on the bottle, it is implied that this product will give you round the clock protection, but I have never tested this as I do like to keep clean and wouldn't go 24hrs without washing.

It's more slim line in shape than many other deodorants and this is handy for slipping down the storage bin in the driver's door.

The top is the bottom on this as on many other deodorants which of course means that you don't get dried up balls - perish the thought! Unscrewing the base/top, you expose a creamy rolling ball which you rub under your armpit until you feel the creamy product going on. Because there is no alcohol in this product, it's a bit wet to start with so it's best to wait a couple of minutes if you are using this as part of your morning ablutions routine.

The product claims to be invisible in use and even though I am always careful as to how I apply it, it has yet to disappoint, so for me this is an anti-perspirant deodorant that does what it claims to do. I know this is important for women as well since white marks are an absolute no-no for you gals.

It also isn't sticky and doesn't clog up your underarm hair - a less important benefit for the fairer sex but important to thieving hubbies like me.

I shall continue to steal this from my wife when she re-stocks. I have no shame.
