      Advantages

      Disadvantages

      A fantastic multi-use product.

I had been wanting to try Enchanted's multi-use sprays for a while, so when they were on special offer at £5 each rather than the usual £7.50, I decided to treat myself and added one to my order. This is for a 50ml bottle, so I still felt it was pricey even at the reduced price, but I had seen some great feedback on it on the Lush forums, and felt like I was missing out!

One of the many beauties about Enchanted is that you can order any product in any scent, and the choice of scents is very wide and varied. I ordered it in SubLIME as I am thoroughly addicted to it's zingy lime goodness, and as I already have other products in that scent, I wanted to be able to use them together to layer up the fragrance on my skin. I could literally be covered in SubLIME from head to toe with this spray! I honestly believe there is something on the scent list that would appeal to anyone and everyone, as there is such variety (this can be viewed at www.enchantedbath.co.uk). Some of my personal favourites are Atlanta (a delicious pure apple scent), Bath Pixie (creme brule with cherries), Alice (mandarin, bergamot, and freesia), Havabath (a zingy lemongrass scent based on Lush's Avobath ballistic), and Clowning Around (toffee apples, and sticky doughnuts!). There are many different types of scents, from fruity to bakery, from calming to reviving, and from sensual to sweet.

In addition new seasonal scents are frequently brought out- the limited edition Halloween scents should be released shortly. I'm not a big fan of Halloween myself, but I really can't wait to see what they bring out for Christmas. In addition Enchanted also offer a custom blending service, so if you are looking for something unique and tailored to your own needs then it may be worth contacting Enchanted to see what they can do for you.

Usually the descriptions on the Enchanted website are simple and don't give the products enough credit. For instance, the Whipped Bodywash is just described as a "scoopable, moisturising body wash which produces loads of lather. " The Bodywash is an absolutely amazing product, and has completely transformed my skin. My legs have never been so soft or felt so fabulous! So I was somewhat surprised to read the description for the multi-use spray:

"A wonderful product with amazing scent hold and throw. This silky dry oil is a multi use wonder product, great for use on the body, hair or as a linen or room spray. This is a dry oil so does not feel "oily" or greasy at all - try it, you will love it."

As it is rare for Enchanted to blow their own trumpets like this, I immediately had very high expectations of this product and couldn't wait for it to arrive. The product was packaged simply, in a plain silver cannister, with label telling me the product name, scent, and the list of ingredients. In order to make this a fair and thorough review, I have tried using this product in all the ways suggested on the website, and by the owner of Enchanted Sarah by email: as a lightly moisturising body spray, as a room spray, as a linen spray, and also on my hair to tame frizz and add shine.

      *Moisturising body spray*

My skin is usually quite dry, so I do have to moisturise regularly. I like the idea of combining the mundane task of moisturising with a delicious fragrance as it makes the job much more enjoyable! I have used oil-based moisturisers before, and have found my legs were left feeling greasy for absolutely ages afterwards. However Sarah had reassured me this was a very light spray that would sink straight into my skin, and not leave any sticky or oily residue, so I had very high hopes for this product. As soon as I sprayed the bottle, my nose was filled with the delights of the SubLIME fragrance. The spray is really strongly fragranced which is fabulous, as I love my scents nice and strong. I found I only needed a couple of squirts per leg, and although I could tell it was oil-based as I was rubbing the spray in, my legs seemed to drink up the oil really quickly, and they were left looking and feeling silky smooth, with no greasiness at all, just like Sarah had promised. It sunk into my arms and tummy just as well, but as it's my legs that are frequently difficult when it comes to moisturising (many products seem too rich and stubbornly stay on the surface rather than being absorbed), I was most impressed with how it left them looking and feeling. This spray in my opinion is not moisturising enough to replace a body cream or butter on a regular basis, but it definitely does lightly moisturise and leave my skin feeling smooth. This easily my favourite way to use the product.

      *Room spray*

It seemed a little strange to use this as a room spray having previously used it as a body spray, and it almost felt wasteful squirting it into mid-air! However as I adore the fragrance, I was soon revelling in my lounge smelling SubLIME! This product does hold scent very well, so I guess it's not surprising that it can also be an effective room spray. Just a couple of squirts were enough to beautifully fragrance the whole room, and the scent lingered for a good few hours. I think personally I would rather use my wax tarts in a burner to fragrance the room, purely because this way you get a steady stream of fragrance, but that is my own personal opinion- I would always rather use a wax tart than any room spray. As room sprays go, I felt this one was very effective, and would definitely recommend it to anyone who prefers to use sprays to fragrance their rooms.

      *Linen spray*

Now with this being oil-based, I was actually really quite worried this would stain my bed sheets. I must confess I did change the sheets and applied this to an old set for fear of wreaking my lovely new one! However it didn't stain the fabric at all, and the scent lingered beautifully. I applied it before bed and could still smell the scent come the morning. I will definitely consider getting a multi-use spray in another fragrance more suited to use on linen- as much as I love SubLIME, it is a very zingy, awakening scent, so not the best to use before bed! I think something like their signature scent, "Enchanted" (vanilla, amber and sandalwood), Aphrodite (pomegranate, peony, musk and ambrosia), Jasper (lavender, sandalwood and oakmoss) or Warm Vanilla Sugar (sweet and comforting vanilla) would all be ideal for use before bed, but it comes down to your own personal tastes really as to what scents you would most enjoy on your linen. I was surprised to discover Enchanted don't have a pure lavender scent, as surely this would be ideal for a bedtime linen spray. I might just suggest it, as I am sure they could commission one!

      *Tame frizz and add shine*

I am sad to say I have truly horrendous frizzy hair. I have spent a silly amount of time, effort and money over the years on so many products that claim to turn my frizz into perfectly straight locks, but nothing has worked. The majority of the time my hair is left weighted down my these sticky potions and serums, looking greasy and horrible, but still as rebelliously frizzy as ever! So I didn't have high hopes for using this product to tame my frizz, simply because I do have very extreme frizz and it would have to work miracles! I put a couple of squirts of the spray into my hand, and then ran my hand through my hair. It definitely did calm my hair down without adding any weight or making it look or feel greasy, but sadly although the frizz was reduced, it had not disappeared. I think on a "normal" person who has just a few fly aways rather than a whole head of full on frizz, this product would actually work rather well.

However what I have discovered is that it is a great product to use after straightening. I love my GHD's as they are the only thing I have found that can de-frizz me. I do still get some fly aways though, which really annoy me as they spoil the whole straightened look. By applying this spray (again in the same way- spraying it into my hand and then smoothing it over my hair), I found it zapped the fly aways and left me with perfect hair, woohoo! I only needed one squirt for this, but I have fine shoulder-length hair, so it would depend on the length and thickness of your hair as to how much you require. And of course there was the added bonus of my hair smiling SubLIME, which was fabulous- every time I swished my hair I got a lovely blast of it- delicious!

In summary I would thoroughly recommend this product. It is fantastic as a lightly moisturising body spray, and leaves my legs looking amazing, it is like they belong to somebody else! They look and feel so smooth and silky soft, and no horrible oily residue is left behind. I will still be using my normal body cream at night as I do need an intensive moisturiser on my super dry legs, but this is perfect for me to use in the day. It all comes down to your skin type really as to whether this spray would offer you sufficient moisturising without a night time cream/lotion/body butter. I think it is perfect to use in the morning, particularly if you're wearing a dress or skirt and want to show off your legs. And of course there is the added advantage of being able to use this spray in a scent of your choice to layer the fragrance. On the day I first tried this, I had used SubLIME body wash, body scrub, and eau de parfam, so I loved being able to use a quick and light moisturiser that complimented my fragrance.

I think it is a really effective linen spray, and it would be worth me investing in a scent more sleep inducing than SubLIME for this purpose! It fragranced the bed sheets well, left no marks or residue, and the scent was really long-lasting. I think it is also great for taming fly away hair- sadly not my huge frizzball, but then I was not expecting it to, as I have impossible hair that nothing works on! For anyone with more mild frizz, or for my fly away hairs after straightening, this product really does perform well.

It is an expensive product, but in my opinion it is worth the price tag. It is really convenient to have so many uses for the spray, and I think it would be worth the money even if it was only suitable for use on my legs. It only needs to be used sparingly, so a bottle will last a fair while depending on how frequently you use it, which makes it much better value for money. I'm really impressed with this, and personally prefer it to the moisturising body spray I reviewed earlier, as it is so much more versatile. I will definitely be buying some more! Another fantastic product from Enchanted.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

Can use on pretty much anything without a geasy residue.

I purchased a Multi-use Spray in Sugar Crush from www.enchantedbath.co.uk a few months ago after reading good reviews about it on the website. You get a 50ml spray for 7.50, and it is a little extravagant but worth it.

The Multi-use spray can be used on the skin, linen and to tame stray hairs - pretty much suitable for everything! It is a dry oil spray, and I thought it would be a little greasy, but I was very wrong. After applying it to my body
after a bath I found it left no oily residue at all. In fact my skin was left nourished, silky and beautifully scented.

The Sugar Crush scent is very fruity and sweet a true girly flirty scent. The fragrance lasts a long time too which is a definate plus. The 50ml bottle tends to last a month or so with regular use, so I think it was worth the money that I spent on it. I usually buy dry oil spray from Avon, but this one from Enchanted is without a doubt better in quality, scent throw and moisturising properties. Another favourite from Enchanted!
